Lu Li stood up, after rolling on the ground. His clothes over his back were torn apart and a piece of flesh was cut off from his left shoulder. Blood was seeping out from his mouth but he was in a stable state because he had on a soft armor. The blood spill was only a sign of some internal injury which originated from the shock.
“The Walking Puppet is weird!”
Wiping the blood off his mouth, Lu Li took a pellet. He was curious.
Wei Yuan said that Walking Puppets had souls, souls of powerful Xuan Beasts sealed inside. Judging by the Walking Puppet’s intelligence, Lu Li believed that it should have a soul.
However, when he extended the vibration waves into the Walking Puppet, he didn’t find anything like a soul in the Walking Puppet’s head. Instead, its head was full of bizarre metal. It was a block of iron without any soul.
“Can it be that its soul is somewhere else?”
Lu Li’s eyes glowed. He gazed into the tortoise shell on the Walking Puppet’s back. After some thoughts, he said to Hu Lang, “Hu Lang, let’s work together. After I make a move, you knock away the Walking Puppet at once.”
Hu Lang checked with psychic power to make sure that Lu Li was okay. Wei Yuan tried to say something but Lu Li had already leaped forward and generated dozens of clones.
“Whoosh~”
The divine weapon of Dragon King glided over in the sky and landed forcefully on the tortoise shell on the back of the Walking Puppet. Lu Li tried to sense as he sent over the vibration waves to see if there was something like a soul in there.
“There is!”
Lu Li felt uplifted. While the vibration waves extended further inside, he sensed some strange mass.

Lu Li attacked at the mass promptly. Later on, vibration waves of soul attacks followed in and began to attack the strange mass of energy as well.

As soon as Lu Li finished his words, Hu Lang made his move. He knocked away the Walking Puppet with his axe. Lu Li looked over and everyone’s attention was on the Walking Puppet.
“Good!”
Everyone was beaming with excitement to see that the Walking Puppet lying on the ground like a pile of iron. Wei Yuan yelled in delight.
Hu Lang and Lu Li checked with psychic power. Lu Li even flew some clones over. They were relieved after they confirmed that the Walking Puppet was no longer moving.
“Young Master Li, that is impressive!”
Hu Lang praised Lu Li. Hu Lang was sure that his attack could not destroy the Walking Puppet. He admired Lu Li for being able to do so.
“Buzzing~”
Lu Li flew over and put away the Walking Puppet into his Interspatial Ring, considering it his spoil. He turned to the Walking Puppet at the exit and said to Hu Lang, “Let’s destroy that one, too.”
“Whoosh~”
Lu Li and Hu Lang leaped forth. Hu Lang distracted the Walking Puppet while Lu Li attacked it. After a round, the soul sealed inside the Walking Puppet was shattered.
With the soul shattered, the Walking Puppet could no longer move. Without the soul, the Walking Puppet no longer had a life. It could not move on its own.
“Young Master Lu, that is brilliant!”
Wei Yuan walked over in excitement. The other warriors circled around to extend their appreciation as well. If it were not for Lu Li or Hu Lang, less than five of them could make it out alive.
“You can go out now. We will have a look around the back hall.”
Lu Li would not leave just like that, not after he had come in. Wei Yuan had promised to split the treasure. Lu Li was not a saint and this was the burial chamber of an ancient powerful warrior.
On the wall at the east was a black door. The warriors left quickly, except for Hu Lang, Lu Li, Wei Yuan and three Noble Lord Realm warriors. Hu Lang cut at the door with his axe.
“Bang~”
A muffled sound rang. A dark glare enveloped the door and there were some runes glowing. The door must have some Inhibition Formation that made it hard to open with blunt force.
Just now, being chased by the Walking Puppet, nobody thought about going into the back hall. Now everyone were looking for some gears with psychic power.
“Found it. Lucky we, I have seen this before!”
In just the time for one incense stick to burn, Hu Lang found something. His eyes glowed as he stared into the pattern on the door. He giggled and began to shot Xuan Energy at some beast carvings on the door.
Wei Yuan couldn’t make much of it and neither could Lu Li. After Hu Lang shot out 27 streaks of Xuan Energy, he stopped. In a short moment, the door opened from inside quietly.
They were all delighted. Two warriors with Wei Yuan wanted to rush in at once but they were stopped by Wei Yuan who said with a smile, “How about…we let Lord Hu and Young Master Lu go in and have a look first? We can go in later.”
Hu Lang and Lu Li looked at each other, admiring Wei Yuan’s wisdom. Evidently, by going in first, Hu Lang and Lu Li could pocket the nice things first and leaving the rest for the Wei Family warriors to collect.
The two warriors standing behind Wei Yuan pouted, unhappy about his decision. Lu Li would not go to take this advantage. He shrugged and said, “Let’s go in together. You can stay behind us.”
There was no sign of life or danger, they were careful nonetheless. Lu Li even sent some clones in first to explore and Hu Lang checked the surroundings with psychic power.
Stepping into the back hall, they were surprised by what they saw. It was small with a golden coffin located in the middle of the hall. To the front of the coffin was a table on which three ancient Interspatial Rings were placed!
Apart from this, there was nothing else inside. All the treasures must be within the three Interspatial Rings.
The two warriors of the Wei Family felt the effect of greed. As far as they were concerned, the nearby territory belonged to the Island of Tranquility and the treasures should be Wei Family’s as well.
Wei Yuan didn’t do anything. He said with a smile, “Young Master Lu, why don’t you have a look in the three Interspatial Rings?”
Lu Li didn’t refuse. He walked over with Hu Lang and each took an Interspatial Ring to check.

“More than a billion?”
The two warriors of the Wei Family looked at the ring in Hu Lang’s hand with greed. Even Wei Yuan was breathing hard. The more than one billion Purple Xuan Crystal was not a small number for the Wei Family.
