It seemed that Tan Jian had no chance of awakening his talent. The young man shook his head with a sigh.

Feeling the throbbing pain in his neck, Elder Nie hissed. His eyebrows were furrowed as he tried to process what had just happened. He didn’t expect the young girl to be capable of hurting him.
“The way you’re treating me, do you still wish to live?” he demanded.
His hoarse voice carried so much rage.
“Even if I’m dead, I’ll still live longer than you.” She chuckled. “The only one you should worry about is yourself.”
“Even if I die, the Green Cloud Pavilion wouldn’t let you off! All of you will have a red target on your backs. Let’s see how smug you are when you return.”
As he was the Grand Elder, the Pavilion would surely look into his disappearance.
The person who had managed to kill him would eventually be hunted down.
They may be able to beat him today, but surely they would be too overwhelmed by the power of the entire Pavilion. They’d surely surround her.
Yao Tang wouldn’t be able to escape by then!
