With a “thump”, Lu Jiahao’s knees hit the ground and his face directly faced the camera and the crowd below.
Qiao Qing’s cold voice arrived from behind, “Apologize!”
“Jiahao!”
“Jiahao!”
Dong Rui and Zhang Liang rushed over and were just about to pull him up, when their hands were struck by something. There was pain.
Lu Jiahao’s knees were in so much pain that they were numb. He couldn’t even stand up.
When he saw that both Dong Rui and Zhang Liang were holding onto their wrists, he realized how terrifying Qiao Qing actually was
Because Qiao Qing was hiding behind Ye Fan, nobody off the stage saw her make those moves.
Everyone was confused as to why Lu Jiahao suddenly kneeled down. Just then, he spoke up, “I’m sorry!”
Lu Jiahao’s face showed shame but he continued, “I shouldn’t have said humiliating things to the people of the City of Brisk. I apologize to everyone right now and here. I’m sorry!”
Everyone began to cheer. From being humiliated before, to being apologized to now, this turn of event sure was exhilarating and satisfying!
As people cheered, Qiao Qing walked her way to the end of the stage discreetly and hopped off the stage. Then she took a shortcut and went home.
When Dong Rui and Zhang Liang saw that Qiao Qing had left, they quickly pulled up Lu Jiahao and left in fear.
Everyone was so happy that they didn’t seem to realize what happened until someone asked, “Where did sis Qiao go?”
The cheering stopped and everyone searched around, where did she go?

After Lu Jiahao and his friends left the scene, Dong Rui asked, “Why did you suddenly kneel down? What happened to your legs?”
Lu Jiahao’s face was as dark as the bottom of a pan, “I don’t know. It felt like someone hit the back of my knees. I felt a sharp pain. Even now, they still hurt a lot.”
Dong Rui and Zhang Liang exchanged glances and said in horror, “Same thing happened to us.”
Lu Jiahao slammed the ground, “That girl played a trick against us!”
Dong Rui asked, “What do we do now? After what happened, we are going to get on the ‘hot search list’ on the internet again.”
“What are you scared of? We did nothing illegal. So we embarrassed ourselves.”
Lu Jiahao then spat out, “But, it’s never too late for a man to revenge! That room was full of uneducated commoners! If any of the City of Brisk students get into UCC, I will make their life a living hell! Let’s go!”

After Qiao Qing left, everyone at the competition left slowly as well.
From this moment on, Qiao Qing was no longer the infamous good-for-nothing. Instead, she was now known as an extremely talented Go player, and the savior of the City of Brisk.
Several middle-aged men sat in the corner of the room that wasn’t very eye-catching.
One of them was relatively younger and was wearing gold rimmed glasses. He was calling someone.
After he hung up, he bent down and leaned in towards a man who was dressed modestly, “Principal, I found them. They really are students from our school. The fact that they are a part of the Go club was also true.”
When he said this, this man sweated.
A University that was centuries old and the number one ranked University in the nation…
Yet it had students of such poor character. This sure was the first time people encountered something like this.
The man didn’t raise his head and said in a low voice, “They started conflicts on purpose and they tarnished the school’s reputation. What are the usual punishments for students who break rules like that?
The man in glasses replied, “According to the regulations, if the crime is of low severity, we keep them in school and observe their behaviours. If the severity is high, we expel them. Because they were students with positions in clubs, their crimes are of high severity.”
The man nodded, “You go take care of it.”
Then, he eyed the stack of files placed on another man’s lap that contained information of all the honor students currently studying in the City of Brisk.
