Then, Qin Hongzhi explained his condition to Luo Xiuen and Cheng Yi.
Upon hearing this, Cheng Yi smiled warmly before he habitually pushed up his glasses: “Mr. Qin, the news that you heard is not reliable. The medicine is still in its development and early experimental stages. Therefore, there’s still a long way to go before it can be bought off the market. If Mr. Qin wants to be our first human experimenter, we would not mind either.”
Cheng Yi’s words made Qin Hongzhi’s mood sink again.
“No human experiments have been conducted yet?” Qin Hongzhi did not dare to be the first person to be experimented on. He would be bearing too much risk.
Cheng Yi gave a clear response: “As of now, we’ve only done experiments on animals. It will take a good while before human experiments begin.”
It appeared as though Qin Hongzhi was happy for no reason.
“Then if I may ask, do you guys know of any other research institutions that are currently making progress on researching leukemia?”
“I’m not too sure,” Cheng Yi replied. “As of now, I haven’t heard of any.”
There were several other research institutions similar to Huiling Medical Research Institution.
However, none of them made their research results public yet.
Upon hearing this, Qin Hongzhi’s mood hit rock bottom.
Then, Qin Hongzhi quietly asked: “Then, when does human experimental begin?”
Cheng Yi: “Mr. Qin, we’re unable to give you a definite answer to this question.”
Qin Hongzhi: “Then is there any way to speed up the progress?”

Cheng Yi: “Your wife was treated by Dr. F.S and I.”
Qin Hongzhi: “Such a thing happened?”
Then, Qin Hongzhi fell deep into thought.
Cheng Yi: “Mr. Qin, that’s all we have to say. If there’s nothing else, we will be heading back to our institution. A lot of research still has to be done.”
Once Cheng Yi said this, Qin Hongzhi decided not to hold them back any further. He hurriedly asked someone to send them back to Huiling Medical Research Institution.
On the way back, Luo Xiuen asked Cheng Yi: “Why did you tell him so much about Yiling?”
Cheng Yi smiled before he replied: “I was just telling the truth.”
Luo Xiuen: “Aren’t you worried that he’ll go and harass Yiling?”
Cheng Yi: “Well, he’s begging for help right now. Therefore, he would not dare to harass Yiling. Furthermore, in the past, Yiling paid a lot of attention to the Qin family matters. Maybe she will find this opportunity helpful.”
