As Grandpa Jian and Grandma Jian talked, Jian Yunmo returned downstairs.
In his hand was a signature dessert from a newly opened dessert shop in Hengyuan City.
Jian Yunmo brought the dessert in front of Grandma Jian.
Before he could say anything, Grandma Jian said in a bad temper, “I don’t like eating sweets or desserts. I don’t want to have high blood sugar levels.”
Jian Yunmo paused for a moment. A flush of embarrassment passed his face before he explained, “It’s for Yiling.”
“Then why don’t you give it to Yiling? Why are you handing it to me? She lives in the room right next to you.”
“Oh, never mind then.” Jian Yunmo said. “I’ll just leave it downstairs. If she sees it, then she can eat a few. If not, just forget about it.”
After saying this, Jian Yunmo returned back upstairs. He didn’t stop for a second at the door of Jian Yiling’s room.
Jian Yunmo’s actions puzzled Grandma Jian even more. She didn’t understand the situation at all.
And thus, she started to mutter to Grandpa Jian again: “Ahhh, what is with these grandsons of mine? Each one is more annoying than the last one!”
“Well, they’re still your grandsons. If you find them annoying, go and settle the matters with your sons.”
“Well, according to your logic, all three sons are our children. Therefore, if the problem doesn’t lie with me, doesn’t that mean that the issue is with you? Then shouldn’t I settle this matter with you?”

Jian Yunmo’s attitude was of no surprise to Jian Yiling.
In the original novel, the relationship between Jian Yiling and Jian Yunmo was also like this.
However, this was a problem that the original Jian Yiling had never figured it out.
Previously, the two of them had used to be very close. In fact, they were almost inseparable from each other.
