“Did she buy some?” Jixuan curled his lips into a scornful smile. “She hoarded a whole year’s worth of snacks.”
“Why did you buy so much?” Chengye frowned. “I gave you a subcard, but I didn’t say that you could spend so recklessly.”
Buying snacks in and of itself was fine, but buying too many of them was another issue entirely.
“If there is a sudden outbreak of a virus, these will all become life-saving rations during the apocalypse.” Jiang Xun stuffed another spoonful of fried oyster meat into her mouth.
Chengye blinked. “… What virus? What apocalypse? Could you think of something normal for once?!”
By now, Jiang Xun had finished all the rice in the pot. She clapped his hands and stood up, then shot them a disdainful look from the corner of her eyes. “Ha, stupid humans!”
After saying that, she went upstairs to her bedroom.

Not long after, Jiang Xun smelled the aroma of the dishes and came down.
Aunt Zhang had just finished bringing the dishes to the table. As expected, she gave Jiang Xun a big bowl and even filled it with rice piled high like a small mountain.
Chengye was now angry at Jiang Xun. He didn’t like her no matter how he looked at her, so he sarcastically said, “Why did you come back so early today?”
“The college entrance exam is tomorrow, so of course I’d come back early,” she replied. Why were they always asking stupid questions?
