The next morning, Nixxxie woke up and realized she was still sleeping while hugging Jiang Yang. Jiang Yang was sleeping while facing the ceiling and she was sleeping embracing him, with her one hand circling his chest and her head resting on a pillow and she was facing him.
Admiring this always so naughty and shameless man who looked calm at that moment, Nixxxie mumbled to herself, “So adorable. What am I going to do with this man?” Saying, she moved closer and pecked on his cheek. Smiling, as she moved her face back, Jiang Yang turned his face to look at her and said in a hoarse voice, looking at her with his sleepy eyes, “You can do whatever you want with me. I am all yours.” 2
Taken aback, she reacted. “Cough! You heard it. I thought you were鈥?.”
Turning on his one side to face her, Jiang Yang asked, “What if I heard it and how can you expect from me to sleep when my woman is sleeping beside me hugging me the whole night? Do you know how difficult it is for a man when鈥?.”
“Got it. Next time I will be careful.” Saying it in a hurry as if the words were ready to run for a marathon from her mouth, Nixxxie was about to get out of the bed but Jiang Yang held her hand and pulled her back in bed.
Getting on top of her while pinning her in bed under him, he said, “Who asked you to be careful?”
“I …Umm鈥?
The next moment, he kissed her and the words she was about to say couldn’t make their way out from her throat. Kissing for a while, Jiang Yang said, “I stopped last night because I was drunk but now I am very much sober and I don’t wish to stop.”
Gulping, Nixxxie looked at him. Her face looked flushed with what he said.
Seeing her nervous, he asked, “Who was the one to threaten me last night saying ‘Next time if you start something, don’t you dare to stop in a midway’ huh?” 3
Nixxxie had no words to say. She didn’t know what to say but she could feel her heart was pounding faster.
Getting no reply from her, Jiang Yang leaned down and whispered in her ear, “If I will start something now, it won’t end up anytime soon.”
As if his action made her freeze to her bones, Nixxxie was listening to each word said by him that made her heart jump out of her ribcage.
Jiang Yang moved back and said while smiling, “But I won’t do anything right now as I want you to be by my sister’s side on her wedding day in a better condition. We can keep it for later. What do you say?” Now he looked like his usual self.
Nixxxie nodded and Jiang Yang let go of her. Soon both got ready and left the suite. Collecting her bag from the hotel staff, Nixxxie was ready to leave in her car but Jiang Yang stopped her, “Let me drive you home. You can send a driver to get your car back home.”
Nixxxie didn’t say no as she knew there was no use also, she was happy that she would spend more time with him on the way home.
When both reached outside of the Xi residence, Nixxxie asked, “Are you going to come inside?”
“How can I go back without greeting my in-laws?” He replied casually but Nixxxie was hesitant. Jiang Yang already knew what she was thinking and said, “Are you worried about what your parents will say knowing you were with me the whole night?”
“I am not worried but I can’t stop feeling uneasy,” she replied.
Looking in her eyes confidently, he said in a firm voice, “First thing, you did nothing to feel like this and a second thing if you would have done something, I mean, if both of us would have done something, that thing doesn’t mean for one to feel guilty about.”
“Hmm!” She agreed but still had the same expressions so Jiang Yang said, “Sigh, Now I regret stopping myself at the last moment. Let’s go back and finish where we stopped and come here again and you are free to carry these expressions on your face.”
“Sorry. I am fine now,” she said, but Jiang Yang was in a teasing mood and asked, “Or is it the other way round?”
“Hmm?” Nixxxie looked at him puzzled.
“I mean, are you like this because we returned without getting things to the end?” Jiang Yang replied.
Giving a look with her eyes narrowed, she said, “You are right and next time I won’t let you stop but for now let’s go inside.” Saying Nixxxie got out of the car and headed to go inside her home.
Smiling at her reply, Jiang Yang got out of the car and followed her. As both entered inside, Song Meilin was already in the living room. She greeted and welcomed them instead of asking questions.
Song Meilin knew, where Nixxxie was going the previous day but she was not aware that her daughter was out the whole night. She didn’t show any displeasure on her face instead asked Jiang Yang to have a seat.
Jiang Yang was his usual self, but Nixxxie was feeling somewhat anxious though her mother said nothing.
“How’s your health, Mrs. Xi?” Jiang Yang asked.
“It’s stable and I don’t have to visit hospital like in the past,” Song Meilin replied.
“That’s good to hear.”
Just as they were about to continue their conversation, someone interrupted them.
“Seems like my sister was out the whole night.” Saying Xi Cheng came to the sofa and sat opposite to Jiang Yang. Looking at Nixxxie, he asked again, “Where were you, little sister?” 2
“She was with me,” Jiang Yang answered calmly before Nixxxie could say anything.
Hearing it, Xi Cheng shifted his sight from Nixxxie to Jiang Yang and asked, “With you? The whole night?”
