“Get him in!” Unlike how the other guests at whom Eric casually waved upon arrival, this young master in his dark suit got Eric stood up and rushed to the door.
Eric smiled gleefully as he reached out his hand, “Good day. I never really expected the family to be led by such a young and talented fellow, as said by people in Country Z, the brilliant is found plenty among youths.”
The handsome young master did not even bother to take a look at him, “Thanks.” The tone was flat as he headed to the hall, ignoring Eric.

Eric’s cheek twitched in fury but he quickly disguised it with his smile.
“Have a seat, everyone,” invited Eric as he beamed at fellow guests and gestured at the exquisite wine and premium cigars on the alloy table, “Be my guest.”
Through the glasses tinted in sea blue, he thanked the guests with a pressuring tone, “Thank you all of you for joining this prestigious occasion tonight. It’s an honor to have all formidable forces underground here.”

The guests responded agreeably except Jiang Yiyuan, the young master and his fellow henchmen of the other companies. Eric had won over the hearts of most guests upon having them informed of his influence in America. Clearly, if they assisted Eric in establishing himself within Country Z, they would flourish.
Jiang Yiyuan snorted upon seeing the goofy faces of the other guests and that subtly proud look of Eric and lit up his own cigarette.
“Young Master Jiang, this is from our country, it’s pretty good. Have a try, you’ll be hooked,” said Eric brandishing the Padron with expressive brows.
“It’s okay.” Jiang Yiyuan responded disinterestedly, “I only like things from Country Z, you can keep your Miami crap.”
Eric frowned a little but he had a more important goal to achieve, “Alright, fellow gentlemen. I believe all of you are aware of our motive here tonight. Days ago, I heard a saying from Country Z that goes like this, ‘men of different principles can never get along’. I find it very interesting because that also means that men with common goals can act together regardless of their background and personality. Since we are in the same boat now, why don’t we work together? We can share the benefits, you know.”
“Yes, sir!”
“Very correct, Mr Eric!”
“As wise as you can be!”
Like before, everybody else acted agreeably except Jiang Yiyuan and his men.
“I am a man with dignity,” said Eric sincerely on the surface.
“I promise once you sign the agreement with me, we will be a family and I am also a man who shares no matter wealth or glory with my friends. We will work together once we have a great plan and the profit will be split accordingly.”

Eric checked out Jiang Yiyuan who remained silent for the past 10 minutes, “Young Master Jiang, I believe that you are on the same page with us judging how you still attended the meeting, eh?” He smiled coldly as his words were coated with toxic threats which however did not move the young master at all.
Jiang Yiyuan tapped the ashes away like a nobleman from the middle age as he responded with a suave accent, “Of course, Mr. Eric. Of course.”
