Unlike all the opponents we had fought up until this point, it definitely felt like Candle Dragon’s cavalry had gone through a massive upgrade. It was thanks to Candlelight Shadow drilling his players for months until their base stats weren’t too far behind Dragonlight Cavalry. Another reason they were able to stop our charge was because they had the number advantage right now.
Boom boom boom…
That wasn’t all. Candle Dragon’s catapults started turning their attention toward us, and our casualties rose dramatically after the payloads of White Marsh Catapults started exploding in our midst. Candle Dragon had been fighting for 20 hours in this contest, so they had had the time to bring even their siege weapons to play. That they were able to seize the initiative from us so thoroughly was definitely something even I hadn’t expected.

But when Li Chengfeng, High Fighting Spirits, Heaven’s Rain and Diamond Dust all activated their Heavenly River Transformations and unleashed their Crimson Firmament Slash, Xing Tian’s Defiance, Tiger Wing Slash and Dog God Slash at the same time, there was only one way this battle could end. No level of defense could survive 5 Ancient Divine Skills hitting them at the same time, and over half of the enemy formation went poof just like that. Before we knew it, the battle initiative was back in our hands.
After that, I activated Fusion Armor, summoned my apparition and Phantom Wolf King, and started cutting down the remnants of Blue Sky scar’s forces. Candlelight Shadow was watching this from afar. He flew beside a White Marsh Catapult, spun the entire siege weapon around with a single kick, and personally took aim at Gui Guzi. There was a series of mechanical sounds, and a flaming rock struck Gui Guzi and his dragon squarely in the back.
