The Mightiest Little Peasant Chapter 704

Chapter 704 - Listen to Your Teacher

“Bottoms up! No one is going home sober tonight!”

Old Master Hua held a jar of liquor in his hands. From the color of his face, he was visibly drunk.

The patriarchs of the other family were in the same state.

“This liquor… is so damn delicious! Why is it different from the ones on the market? This is what you call true Divine Liquor!” Old Master Hong burped and muttered.

The old men were completely addicted to the drink.

Taoist Master Qing Xu, who was fond of wine, did not drink too much.

He sat on one side and sipped from his cup. Looking at the scene, he could not help but laugh and feel emotional.

There was also a hint of wistfulness in his eyes.

After a long time, he withdrew his gaze and looked at Tang Hao. “I should go back, Little Brother!” He said with a smile.

“Go back?” Tang Hao was surprised.

“Yes! Back to the inner sanctum and accompany my senior brother!” He said, “I am reaching my mortal limit soon. It’s been more than eight months since I’ve come out of seclusion, so I only have about two years left.

“If I don’t go back, I will die in two years, and my cultivation will be all for naught!

“I’m already an old man! Unlike you young people who have a long way to go!”

A carefree smile appeared on his face.

“Now, I’m not worried anymore. That Qian Ji kid has potential. He will be able to lead Mao Mountain, and there’s no worry that the sect will be lacking a leader.

“More importantly, you’re here! You’re so young, but your cultivation base is almost higher than mine. Your future will be boundless! With you on Mao Mountain’s side, I’m not worried at all.”

Tang Hao pressed his lips and fell silent.

He could do nothing about the mortal limit!

“Here, let me toast you!”

As he spoke, he filled two cups of liquor and raised his own.

Tang Hao raised his cup, clinked it with his, and downed it in one gulp.

The party lasted until very late at night. People were sprawled all over the hall, and the air was thick with the scent of alcohol.

Tang Hao decided to stay for the night.

The next day, he went to see Taoist Master Zhen Yang and was informed that Taoist Master Qing Xu had gone into seclusion.

Tang Hao felt a sense of loss.

After breakfast, Tang Hao drove back to Provincial City. He made it in time for classes.

It had been a long time since he attended classes. He was busy with the Artifact formation in the past month. After that, he went back to Westridge.

Jiang Wanying was surprised when she saw him and glanced at him resentfully.

After class, he tactfully stayed behind.

When everyone had left, he walked to the edge of the podium.

Jiang Wanying did not look at him. Her head was down as she tidied her textbooks.

“Teacher Jiang!” Tang Hao called out.

“What should you call me?”

Jiang Wanying immediately raised her head and glared at him.

“Wanying!” Tang Hao immediately replied.

“That’s more like it!” She pursed her lips into a smile, and her expression eased up a little. Following which, she berated, “Wow, you still remember to come to class! How long has it been? At least a month!

“As your teacher, what should I do about you? You’re not even acting like a student1”

Tang Hao rubbed his nose, feeling a little embarrassed.

“I’ve decided! I’m going to punish you!”

She tidied up her books and held them in front of her chest. Then, she looked at Tang Hao and said seriously.

“Huh? Punish me!”

Tang Hao was taken aback.

“That’s right! You have to be punished! This is outrageous!” Jiang Wanying lifted her chin and said sternly.

However, she was too beautiful, and even though her expression was stern, it was not intimidating at all. In fact, it had a unique charm.

It was June, and she was dressed casually in a miniskirt and a T-shirt.

Tang Hao glanced at her, and his face blushed with embarrassment.

Sensing his gaze, Jiang Wanying also blushed. Her stern expression earlier was totally gone.

“Where are you looking? I said I’m going to punish you!” Jiang Wanying said coyly.

“Oh! What’s the punishment?”Tang Hao said blankly.

“Detention! Come to my house this afternoon!” She said with mock anger.

“It’s settled then! I’m your teacher. You have to listen to me!”

She smiled mischievously, leaned over, put her arm around his neck, and kissed him.

She kissed him for a full half a minute, then heaved a sigh of relief when she looked outside and saw that no one was looking.

“One more kiss!”

After the second kiss, she stepped back and blushed.

“Remember your punishment!”

She winked at Tang Hao and smiled slyly. Then, she wiped the corners of her lips, resumed her serious expression, and walked out of the classroom.

Tang Hao was stunned for a long time as he looked at the graceful figure move into the distance. He came to his senses after she disappeared from view.

He quickly wiped his mouth and rushed to his next class.

After the afternoon class, Tang Hao parted ways with Cao Fei and the others. He exited the front gate and walked along the road for a while before a flashy BMW came from behind.

The car window rolled down, revealing a beautiful face.

“Get in the car!” Jiang Wanying waved at him.

Tang Hao opened the car door and got in. She immediately leaned over and kissed him. Then she smiled and said, “Now, let’s go to the wet market first! Let’s buy some ingredients and cook dinner together!”

She rolled up the car window, started the car, and sped away.

They went to the grocery store near her home and bought a lot of things.

When they got home, she went to take a shower. The sound of running water and her humming could be heard from the bathroom.

Twenty minutes later, she came out wrapped in a towel.

“My master chef! What are you cooking? It smells so good!”

She walked to Tang Hao’s back, stretched out her arms, and gently hugged him.

Tang Hao’s arms trembled, and he hurriedly said, “Don’t mess around. I’m cooking!”

“Oh! Then I won’t move! I’ll just stay like this, OK?” She smiled.

“As long as you don’t move!”

She hugged him like that and breathed in the scent of Tang Hao’s body.

“Tang Hao!” Suddenly, she shouted.

“Yes?”

“Are you going back tonight?”

“Mm!”

Tang Hao hesitated for a moment, but he nodded anyway.

“Oh!” She was a little disappointed.

“I can leave later!” Tang Hao said.

“OK!” She was happy again.

“Oh right, summer vacation is at the end of the month. Do you think you can come to River Delta City when you’re free? My parents mentioned you a few days ago. They said that they haven’t seen you for a long time and wanted to see you!

“Is that OK?” She pleaded.

“OK!” Tang Hao pondered for a moment and agreed.

River Delta City was not too far away, and it was not too troublesome to go there. Besides, it had been a long time since they last saw each other. The last time they met was during the New Year when Tang Hao went to River Delta City to deliver gifts.
