The Mightiest Little Peasant Chapter 603

Chapter 603 - Zhao Qingxue’s Day Off

“Come, come, Brother Tang, let me toast you! Please forgive me if I have offended you!”

Captain Lei walked up to Tang Hao and raised his glass.

“Don’t worry about it!” Tang Hao raised his glass and clinked it with his.

“Haha! Brother Tang is also a man of character! Here, let’s drink a few more glasses. Neither of us is going back sober tonight!”

Captain Lei laughed out loud. He picked up a bottle of wine and filled up Tang Hao’s glass. He drank a few more glasses.

His alcohol tolerance was rather impressive. He had drunk three bottles of red wine and was completely fine.

If it was ordinary wine, Tang Hao could drink as much as he wanted.

“Here, Ol’ Zhao, let’s drink some too!” Captain Lei walked to Zhao Wuyang’s side and toasted him.

Zhao Qingxue, who sat next to Tang Hao, also drank quite a lot and her pretty face was red.

“You should drink less!” Tang Hao leaned over and whispered.

She glanced sideways and said, “No problem! Besides, aren’t you here for me?”

In an instant, Zhao Wuyang’s ears perked up, and he discreetly leaned over.

“Big Bro! What are you doing?” Zhao Qingxue immediately noticed and said angrily.

Zhao Wuyang was immediately embarrassed. He coughed and said, “No… nothing! I’m just a little dizzy!” As he said that, he put his hand on his forehead and pretended to be drunk.

“Tch! Still pretending!” Zhao Qingxue immediately exposed him.

Zhao Wuyang chuckled sheepishly.

“I’m only concerned about you, Qingxue!” Zhao Wuyang said.

“If you have time to be concerned about me, why don’t you find me a sister-in-law, hmm? You’re a grown man now!” Zhao Qingxue glared at him.

Zhao Wuyang had no answer to that and quickly changed the topic.

“Come, come! Let me toast you, Qingxue!” Zhao Wuyang chuckled and poured her a glass of wine.

The atmosphere at the dinner was harmonious and lively.

Eventually, Zhao Wuyang reached his limit and slumped on the table. Even the robust and fit Captain Lei was drunk.

Half of the people at the dinner were slumped on the table.

Zhao Qingxue was also drunk and in a daze.

Tang Hao looked around and could not help but laugh. He took out some sobriety medicine and gave it to everyone.

When he came to Zhao Qingxue, she pushed his hand away and muttered, “No! I don’t want to drink this! I want you to send me home!”

Tang Hao had no choice but to skip her.

The others soon came to. After paying the bill, they left one after another.

“Brother Tang, Ol’ Zhao, I’m leaving. See you next time!” Captain Lei waved his hand and left.

“Well… Tang Hao, I’m leaving too. As for Qingxue… you can send her back!” Zhao Wuyang stood up and left too.

Eventually, only Tang Hao and Zhao Qingxue were left in the private room.

“Let’s go!” Tang Hao helped her up.

As soon as she stood up, she swayed, fell into Tang Hao’s arms, and remained there.

She stretched out her arms and hugged him tightly. Her burning hot face rested on Tang Hao’s shoulder and gently rubbed it.

“Let’s go!” A moment later, Tang Hao said.

“OK!” She responded softly but did not move away.

“We have to go!” Tang Hao said helplessly.

“I can’t walk. Carry me!” She mumbled.

Tang Hao was stunned. They were a restaurant, and people were in the corridor!

“I’m not leaving if you don’t carry me!” She said coyly.

With no other solution, Tang Hao smiled, carried her in his arms, and walked out of the room.

The people in the corridor were stunned when they looked at him. They seemed a little envious.

“Way to go, Bro!”

Several men looked at Tang Hao with lecherous expressions and gave him a thumbs up. They looked like they admired him.

Tang Hao smiled awkwardly. He quickened his pace, walked toward the parking lot, opened the car door, and put her in the back seat.

Then, he drove to her apartment.

He carried her upstairs, took out the keys from her bag, opened the door, and walked in.

He kicked the door shut, changed his shoes, walked into the bedroom without turning on the lights, and put her on the bed.

He was about to get up when he heard her giggle. Her hands that were around his neck pulled downward.

“Don’t go!” She muttered rather overbearingly.

She leaned over and kissed him.

It was already past ten o’clock when they woke up the next day.

Tang Hao looked at his watch and was shocked.

She also woke up and said groggily, “What time is it?”

“It’s half-past ten!” Tang Hao said.

“What?” She screamed and sat up straight.

Reflexively, she wanted to get out of bed, put on her clothes, and rush to work.

However, she abruptly stopped in her tracks and muttered, “Oh, right. How could I forget? It’s my off day today! Whee!”

She fell on the bed again, hugged Tang Hao, and closed her eyes comfortably.

“I’m not going to work today and tomorrow. Let’s sleep for a little longer!”

Soon, she fell asleep again.

This sleep lasted for three hours.

When she woke up again, it was almost two o’clock in the afternoon.

“Can you accompany me these two days? We haven’t seen each other for a few months… we’ll just stay at home today. Tomorrow, can we take a walk outside?” Zhao Qingxue said after she got up.

“Sure!” Tang Hao hesitated for a moment but agreed anyway.

“Great!” She smiled happily.

Then, she rubbed her stomach and frowned.

“I’m so hungry. Let’s order some takeout! What do you want to eat?”

“What’s good here?”

“Nothing much. How about pizza?”

“OK!”

She ordered pizza over the phone. After that, she remained in bed, watching a television series on her tablet.

The day passed quickly.

The two of them woke up again the next morning.

She spent a long time washing up and picking an outfit. She put on a wine-red fitting dress, some jewelry, and high heels, which made her look dazzling.

“Let’s go shopping!”

She pulled Tang Hao out of the door.
