Today, Mu Qingyao heard a sudden movement in the house. Mu Qingyao thought that one of her family members must have returned home as she got up. When she walked out of the room, however, she saw that it was a real estate agent who was giving the buyer a tour of the mansion.
She stood quietly as she watched before she turned her head back and went to her room. She was still wearing her pyjamas, which was not a suitable dress-code for meeting people. No one notified her that there would be outsiders in the house, after all.
She eavesdropped on their conversation from the room for a while. She could tell that the hidden meaning between the agent’s words was the fact that he wanted to sell this mansion as soon as possible since it was urgent.
After the Mu family went bankrupt, Father Mu completely ignored Mu Qingyao. He left her alone to fend for herself.
Now, even the house was about to be sold without her being notified. Even though she now knew that the moving company was going to commence the moving tomorrow, it was just something that she heard about from the real estate agent instead of her father.
