“Dragons of wind!”
Lu Li yelled, then dozens of dragons of wind that he had readied dashed over and encircled that monstrous creature. The other Earth Immortal Realm warriors were in a cautious state as well.
“Swish~”
Dozens of dragons of wind hovered around in the sky, forming a quite spectacular view. The Asmodians nearby were seized with terror. They had all tasted the force of the dragons of wind themselves. The Dragon Demon was not strong enough yet. There was a good chance that it could be killed.
To humans, Asmodians and beasts were alike, souls were of utmost importance. Once the soul was under attack, whether it was warriors or beasts, their defense would be undermined. Picture a proactive defense mechanism and one that relied on nothing but the physical strength. The gap between the two mechanisms was immense.
However…
Both the Asmodians and Lu Li appeared to be shocked. The dozens of dragons of wind had reached the Dragon Demon which merely shook its head mildly but did nothing else. The Dragon Demon even displayed a bit of confusion, wondering what Lu Li was doing by blowing the wind over.
“What is going on?”
Lu Li and his Earth Immortal Realm soul slaves looked at each other in astonishment. Soul attacks contained in the Feather Wind was rather strong. Did the Dragon Beast have no soul? But that was unlikely that such a powerful monster was without a soul. The stronger a monster was, the more intelligent it should be.
For a moment, Lu Li did not know what to do and neither were the others. Amongst them all, Lu Li had the most powerful attacks relying on his Feather Wind which could affect the Asmodian Lord himself. Their original plan was to launch a consolidated attack with the help of the Feather Wind, which was how they planned to kill the Dragon Demon.
The Feather Wind had proven to be ineffective. There was a small chance that the others could kill the Dragon Demon, a being that was so dreadful, via other means.
“Let me try again!”
Once more, Lu Li formed dozens of dragons of wind. Those dozens of dragons of wind were integrated together in midair. They grew into a super dragon and roared away toward the Dragon Demon.
“Hoot, hoot!”
The Dragon Demon saw this huge swirl of wind coming. But the Dragon Demon was not scared. It merely flapped its wings. In its golden eyes was puzzled feelings.
“Swish~”
The huge swirl of wind dashed on and enveloped the Dragon Demon. Even the Asmodian Lord was undermined by this kind of dragons of wind for the soul attack contained within was simply intimidating.
And yet, the Dragon Demon gave no reaction. This time, even Lu Li was panicking. Was the Dragon Demon so strong that it feared no soul attacks?
“There is only one way to do it. Let us take it by force!”
Lu Li waved his hand. The others released their strongest modes of attack almost all at the same time. Lu Li used Rising Dragon skin and the others tried different Profound Meanings or Bloodline skills.

In the air appeared a huge golden glow. Apart from the Feather Wind, Rising Dragon Skill was one of Lu Li’s strongest arsenal. Uncle Nine of the Jun Family generated a skeleton hand that was black all around. Patriarch Lei formed some thunderbolts and Patriarch Gu gathered a swirl of wind…
“Boom, boom, boom~”
It was a scary scene when a group of Earth Immortal Realm warriors was exerting their utmost efforts in a fight, the space around them had suddenly torn apart, like a glass mirror that had been shattered. Cracks meandered to all directions across the sky. The area was laden with a sense of destruction. The Asmodians somehow felt the end of the world was approaching…
“Hoot, hoot!”
The Dragon Demon sensed danger this time. Till now, the Dragon Demon had been crawling in the altar. At this moment, it stood up abruptly. Its furs were wavering rhythmically like a wind was blowing across a rice field. The red glow seemed to have formed a layer of blood-red armor over the Dragon Demon.
“Boom, boom, boom, boom~”
Noises of bombardment could be heard everywhere. Ripple effects from the blast stirred up dust, covering heaven and earth, blurring the sight of the Asmodians. Amidst the dust, the Dragon Demon was bellowing in wrath. Its shout was so loud that it could shatter the earth and sky. Many Asmodians felt their ears were bleeding. They could not hear anything else. All of a sudden, they had gone deaf.
“Get back…”
A leader of the Asmodians shouted. He knew that the blast from the explosions could kill many warriors. Therefore, he tried to warn his underlings at once.
However, those warriors could not hear his voice. They were all standing there, stunned. Soon, many of them were knocked away by the blast. The weaker ones were killed right away by the impact.
“Hoot, hoot!”
A bellow that could strike fear came out again and again. It was a harsh sound that demonstrated the fury of the Dragon Demon.
“Something is going to happen!”
Lu Li and the others were frightened to hear this sound. They used their psychic power to check but could not believe what they saw. More than a dozen Earth Immortal Realm warriors had worked together and exerted great effort and yet, the Dragon Demon did not sustain any serious wound. The Dragon Demon shed little fur. There was some blood oozing from its skin but nothing else. A pungent smell of blood spread across, making people sick.
“Hoot, hoot!”
The Dragon Demon raised its head and bellowed. Its red horn lit up. A ray of a blood-red glow was cast to an area with a radius of over one thousand feet.
“Step back. Spread out!”
Lu Li shouted. The other Earth Immortal Realm warriors had already taken actions. They retreated to different directions. That red glow screamed danger to them.
“Hoot, hoot~”
The Dragon Demon made a move. It spread its wings. However, it was not flying. Instead, the Dragon Demon galloped forward with a speed that was beyond anyone’s imagination. Soon, the Dragon Demon approached two Earth Immortal Realm warriors who were from the Demon-slaying Hall.
“Buzzing~”
Over the Dragon Demon’s horn was a hue of red glow that soon was cast upon the two Earth Immortal Realm warriors of the Demon-slaying Hall. Lu Li was terrified by what happened next. The Earth Immortal Realm warriors were in the middle of a retreat; however, at the very moment, they seemed to be haunted by some devils. A surge of red air circulated around their bodies. They were standing still in mid-air, unable to move as if they had been entangled by the red air. Not only had they stopped running away, but they also could not even fight back.
“Hoot, hoot!”
The Dragon Demon rushed over. It opened its gigantic mouth, swallowed the two patriarchs, and chewed them up. The two Earth Immortal Realm patriarchs now were torn apart.
“Poof~”
But the Dragon Demon seemed to be unsatisfied with the taste of the two patriarchs. It rushed towards them at once. The Dragon Demon now turned its golden eyes toward Lu Li, as if it was saying that Lu Li’s flesh would probably taste better since he was younger.
“Let’s get out of here first. Run to the south–”
Lu Li saw a ray of red light roaring toward him. He gave up the idea of killing the Dragon Demon without any hesitation, he then dashed into the Wicked Bead instantly.
“Whoosh!”
The Wicked Bead flew away. Lu Li soon caught up with the other Earth Immortal Realm warriors and took them in. The Dragon Demon’s target was Lu Li. It appeared to be confused when Lu Li disappeared on the spot and stopped chasing him.
As Lu Li took the Earth Immortal Realm warriors in one by one, the Dragon Demon became increasingly bewildered. This beast was not highly intelligent. It could not figure out why it could no longer sense the humans all of a sudden.
When everyone was safe in the Wicked Bead, Lu Li finally could breathe. He should have taken everyone in at once. The two patriarchs should not have sacrificed their lives. There he was, in his delusion of killing the Dragon Demon. How ridiculous that was.
“Should I just give it up?”
Lu Li was having internal conflicts. He would never have another chance to slay the Dragon Demon if not now. Who of the Heaven Reverse Universe could stop the Dragon Demon when it reached the prime of its life?
