Three thousand miles to the north of Demon-slaying City was a valley that Ke Mang was hiding. It would be lying to say that he was not frightened.
He was only at the Noble Lord Realm. Without the formations of destruction and illusion, even a Human Sovereign Realm warrior could have killed him, not to mention Semi-God Realm warriors.

Time moved on. One day later, Ke Mang received another message from He Yue. Lu Li would arrive in the valley in half a day. They were followed by over fifty Semi-God Realm warriors, including 10 at the peak of Semi-God Realm.
The battle was on the verge of breaking out!
Ke Mang gulped. He walked around to check all the formations, making sure that nothing was amiss. The battle that was going to happen half a day later would be critical, not only to his survival but also to Lu Li’s and the human races of the Heaven Reverse Universe.
After several rounds of careful checks, Ke Mang retreated to a cave in one of the walls. He had set up a strong defense mechanism here that could protect him against several rounds of attacks from Semi-God Realm warriors. There was also a Teleportation Formation in here that was connected to the Demon-slaying City. This was a way of retreat that he had planned for himself.
Time went by bit by bit. Ke Mang’s heart was pounding. He was picturing the grand battle in his mind. He was filled with nervousness, fear and a hint of excitement.
A battle of this scale was unprecedented in the Heaven Reverse Universe. This battle would be recorded in history and he, Ke Mang would be a part of it. He would fight with Lu Li shoulder to shoulder. Even death would be an honorable one.
“They are here!”
An hour later, Ke Mang heard some sharp noises coming from the north. The noise was clearly a result of things moving fast in the air.
“Squeak, squeak~”
A subsidiary body of He Yue next to Ke Mang danced around in the sky as if writing something in the air.
Indeed, the enemies were coming. He Yue had sent a warning message. Ke Mang held several formation stones in his hand. At the moment, suddenly, the fearful and nervous feelings left him. The battle was going to begin. Tension would not help him. His survival would be up to fate.
