Immediately after contacting the doctors, Grandfather Fu instructed the Butler Li to go over there and take a look at things for him, after speaking with Fu Geming to tag along.

In the car, Fu Geming was baffled by how the accident happened. Aiguo had hit a parked trailer which made his case more serious.

”I thought you didn’t love him anymore, why are you in this state?” He asked as he stood before her silently.
”Are you here to make fun of me?” Fu Juan asked with her gaze at the red emergency light indicating that surgery was still ongoing.
Fu Geming sighed and shifted his face to the door, “How long has he been inside there, and how long with the surgery last?”
”I don’t know anything, I have lost track of time.” Fu Juan replied without moving her gaze.
Fu Geming was speechless as he wondered the reason she was so affected by his accident. He began to think if this accident would remove the hatred she had in her heart for me.
Butler Li stepped forward and said to Fu Geming, “Sir, let’s check with the doctor Masted had me make a call to, he should know more about the details of the surgery.”
Fu Geming nodded and followed him out.
As soon as they left, Fu Juan glanced in their direction with a small smirk appearing on her face. The smirk was so small that it could only be seen in a close-up view.
About 10 minutes later, Fu Geming and Butler Li returned to her side after getting a better understanding of Aiguo’s accident and treatment.
”The doctor said the surgery might last into the night, are you sure you want to stay here?” Fu Geming asked.
”If I don’t stay here, he will be alone, and this wouldn’t be good. Fu Juan replied calmly.
Fu Geming said with his hands in his pockets, ” I want to understand something, you are going to divorce him, and he has another woman and children outside, so what is the use of this sacrifice you are making?”
Fu Geming was finding it out to understand Fu Juan. He was not heartless, and it was not bad if she spent some time at the hospital, but he has seen how bad their relationship was, so it was making him have different thoughts.

Fu Geming glanced at Butler Li before glancing back at her. He could only think that she was about to lose it.
”We are leaving now, and the 2 bodyguards we came with, will stay here because of the press. Since you want to stay here till the surgery is over, book a VIP room for yourself to spend the night. I have already cleared all the current bills. Later, dinner along with a change of clothes will be sent to you.”
Fu Juan was glad that he changed topics and thanked him for looking after her.
”Do you want your daughter to come along with the things that will be sent over?” Fu Geming asked, in case she would need company.
Fu Juan shook her head, “No, let her be, I can manage alone.”
”Okay, we are leaving now,” Fu Geming said before turning to walk away with Butler Li.
When they finally disappeared from her sight, Fu Juan released the long breath she has been holding.
’At last, I can be alone now.’ Fu Juan thought to herself.
Soon, the bodyguards’ Fu Geming came with earlier, came to meet her. They greeted her and stood there waiting for her instructions.
Fu Juan looked very serious now when she saw them, instead of the glooming aura surrounding her before.
Picking up her phone from her pause, she went straight to her gallery to find some pictures before showing them to the bodyguards.
It was a picture of a mature woman younger than her, with a teenage boy and girl, which happened to be her husband’s other family.
”Don’t let these people into this hospital, but if they manage to get in, never let them set their eyes on my husband no matter what, and you should be swift in driving them away.” Fu Juan instructed.
The bodyguards took note of the people in the pictures she showed to them and nodded in understanding.
”They can’t add to my troubles…” Fu Juan said with a distant gaze.
The news of Aiguo’s accident had sprayed, and it won’t be long before his other family sees it and come searching for him. But she would never let them meet.
If they were caught by the media, then everyone’s reputation including the Fu family will fall.
Fu Juan was not ready to bear the cross for the reason for that, because if something like that happens, the blame will be put on her, which was right.
