"It's time to get Qin Jia's Aunt to do that interview," Alix said after taking a few sips from her glass of orange juice.
"Why do you have to do it now?" Carlos asked curiously.
"Now it's the best time. Because soon, it's going to be the death anniversary of her parents, we need to make the celebration worth all the humiliation I have experienced since this year." Alix said.
Carlos tried to reason with her. "If you do this now, won't Fu Hua suspect that you are the one behind it, and you are doing it to get revenge?"
Alix scoffed and said with confidence. "He will have to abandon his work and family to personally find out that I am the one behind it."
Whether Mu Keer was found out or not, that was none of her business. Even if Mu Keer confessed that someone put her to it, she would never be able to point them out, because she has never seen Alix's face before, and Mr. Carlos met her with a fake identity.
"I will arrange for some of the reporters to do the interview," Carlos said.
"I hope you will do a good job convincing them. They may not want to interview Mu Keer since she is Qin Jia Li's Aunt, and Qin Jia Li is now related to the Fu family. They wouldn't want trouble just like that, but if you entice them by bringing the proposal in a good way, they would be willing to jump right into the fire and burn." Alix said to her.
Carlos wondered how Alix became proficient in doing these kinds of dirty works. And as if to answer the questions in his mind, she said to him…
"Because of the kind of life I'm living, I have to keep up in my own little ways."
The next day, Carlos gathered a few notorious reporters in a small meeting room at a good restaurant. He was in disguise, as well as a game identity.
There were three reporters in the room with him. He asked them to place the order for whatever they wanted after they had finished settling down.
"Really, we can order whatever we want even when we haven't approached the topic for this meeting?" One of the reporters asked with a big smile on his face.
Carlos smiled and said to them, "It doesn't matter. After eating to your satisfaction, we can talk business, but I have to warn you, that you can only order the food you can finish because I don't like wasting food. And this restaurant doesn't allow takeouts, so please be careful."
The reporters laughed out loud and calmly placed the order for their food. Since their client/customer was rich, they had to be careful while ordering, as he said he didn't like wasting food or seeing food being wasted.
After they had eaten to their fills and two waiters came to clear out their table, one of the reporters glanced at Carlos and asked with a fawning smile, "Thank you for feeding us. Can you tell us the exclusive news you have for us?"
"Yes…yes… we have eaten to out fill, it's time to get right down to business." Another said.
"And I wonder what kind of exclusive news you would be letting us hear." The female reporter asked with interest.
Carlos smiled and replied, "This is a big one. This is related to Miss Qin of the Fu family."
The reporters exchanged glances before looking at him.
"Miss Qin? Which Miss Qin?"
"And which Fu family are you talking about?"
"Is it the Fu family that we know about?"
Carlos smiled the more and said, "It is the Fu family that you know about."
"What! This will be a dangerous mission"
"Yes, once it's related to the Fu family, we have to be sure on what kind of news we report about them, otherwise we can wave goodbye to our careers."
"Wait, you mentioned the Fu family, which Miss Qin is related to them? Is one of them getting married?" The female reporter asked.
The other two seemed to become more I tweeted now. If this was about writing a piece of exclusive news like this, then they would do it.
"Okay, you all are getting me wrong, so why don't you keep quiet and listen to me explain the kind of news I have? And you are not allowed to interrupt me until I have finished." Carlos said to them as he was getting annoyed with how they were going out of context.
The three reporters glanced at each other before glancing back at Carlos as a way of telling him to go on.
"This exclusive news is related to Miss Jia Li who is married into the Fu family. There is verifiable negative news about her that hasn't leaked because everyone has been paying attention to her good side. And, unfortunately, no one is saying anything negative about her, I mean, it's not like she is a saint."
While saying this, Carlos was glancing between the three reporters to study their reactions. If he hadn't warned them beforehand not to interrupt him, thru would have loved to ask him so many questions at this point, but unfortunately, they couldn't.
Carlos continued with what he was saying.
"Miss Jia's mother was chased out of her family, and she eloped with her father. According to Miss Jia Li's Aunt, her mother was already pregnant before they got married. And since marrying into the Fu family, Jia Li has never visited her Aunt, who is the only remaining family of her late father. She completely abandoned her and her cousins after getting married into the Fu family."
After giving hints to all the stories Mu Keer told him, he added, "This is an exclusive news that nobody knows about, and even if it is investigated, you won't get into trouble, because the news is true."
After a little argument, the reporters began to ask some questions.
"Will Miss Mu Keer allow us to interview her and get the answers out of her because we can't just publish this news like that?"
"Of course.. She agreed for anyone to come and interview her in her place, so the slums she and her children are living in, can be seen to prove that she is not accusing anybody."
