Since FangSu was present, she was able to try on her dress, which fitted her perfectly. When FangSu got into the dress and saw how beautiful it was, she didn't want to take it off until Jia Li begged her.
"Sister-in-law, you are truly a good fashion designer. You have eyes for good things." FangSu praised Jia Li after she changed back into her dress.
"Thank you! I think we can leave now. We will stop by at another store to get the special gifts I prepared for my bridal train." Jia Li said with a smile.
FangSu wasn't able to tell what gift Jia Li had prepared since it was packaged by the store attendants where she went to pick it up.
"Can you at least tell me what you prepared for us since you are not ready to give them out?" FangSu begged Jia Li when they got into the car.
Jia Li didn't bulge. "You will get to see the gifts after I have packaged them and sent yours to you. For now, you only have to curb your curiosity and that way, you will live longer."
"What?" FangSu said with a surprised gaze. This was not Jia Li's speaking style in any way. She was really surprised when she spoke to her that way. She wasn't annoyed, just surprised.
Jia Li smiled and changed topics, "Let's stop by the supermarket to buy some fruits. Jasmine is going to ask me what I bought for her since I refused to take her out with me."
FangSu thought for a while before saying in agreement, "Fruits, that's a good idea. She has been eating a lot of sweets lately."
"And who is the one that has been giving them to her?" Jia Li asked as she spared her a glance.
FangSu stopped talking and looked out through the window out of guilt.
It wasn't easy for FangSu to curb her desires for a few more days before Jia Li sent her the bridesmaid's package.
And when she and Meixu got theirs, they immediately tried them on and came to flaunt them in front of the rest of the family.
In the Bridesmaid's package Jia Li sent out to her 4 bridesmaids and 1 chief bridesmaid, it included a pair of shoes, perfume, beauty products, earrings, necklaces, pouch, the dresses, and a handwritten card.
When Jia Li's three friends got their packages they immediately tried on their dresses and called Jia Li on a video to call to show them to her.
"The dresses are pretty, and thanks for the expensive gifts I would never be able to afford in my lifetime." Chang Chang said in an excited tone.
"The dresses fit perfectly and need no amendment. But what was more shocking was the gifts included in the box, thanks so much!" Daiyu said with a big smile.
"Jia Li, we are going to treat you to a nice lunch when we come over a few days to your wedding." DanDan said.
"Aright, I'm happy that I was able to put smiles on your face through this." Jia Li said with a smile.
Daiyu pushed DanDan and Chang Chang out of her view before saying to Jia Li, "I'm not going to be jealous because you chose DanDan as your chief bridesmaid, I am already happy that I get to attend the wedding of the trending couple and a wedding of the century. I may find my Mr. Perfect there."
DanDan and Chang Chang came back to their rightful positions as Jia Li in surprise, "Daiyu, I'm really surprised that you are thinking about dating."
"Why do you think like that?" Daiyu asked with a frown.
"You looked like the one that will be the last to date amongst our circle." DanDan said with a low chuckle.
Daiyu glanced at them and asked, "Was I that bad?"
"You didn't know? You were always talking about beating up the boys, so we thought you had no affection for them but who knew that you would one day be interested in them." Chang Chang teased.
Daiyu rolled her eyes at them and said, "Who says I don't want to have a perfect marriage like Jia Li? I also want to be loved by a man, as have an adorable daughter like Jasmine. Oh! Where is our pretty little girl, where did you hide her?"
Jia Li chuckled and said, "It's Jasmine's nap time, sorry you can't see her today."
"It's such a pity. Anyway, we will see her soon or we will come and take her from you." Chang Chang said.
DanDan shook her head and said to her, "Don't you see so many people that are standing guard? Can you defeat all the members of the Fu family in order to steal their little princess away?"
Jia Li sighed and watched her friends argue about her daughter. Later she had to give them the excuse that she had some other work to do before they stopped arguing and said goodbye to her.
While Jia Li's bridesmaids received their packages, Fu Hua also sent out some packages to his groomsmen. A well-tailored suit, a pair of cufflinks, a tie and a pair of shoes.
It was truly going to be a big private wedding with the expensive gifts the bridesmaids and groomsmen received from the bride and the groom.
For his groomsmen, Fu Hua picked YingPei, Ling, two of their male cousins and a friend. Fu Hua didn't have close friends, as they were all his business partners. The only person he could call his friend wasn't living in China and had to come down to the country for his wedding.
The long-expected wedding was in 2 weeks and all the preparation for it was coming to a conclusion.
Today, Jia Li's wedding dress arrived. The Big Wedding dress designer Fu Hua partnered with, personally came with his team to deliver the dress at the Fu Villa.
Jia Li was all excited when she heard the news of her wedding dress arrival and I don't think anyone was happier than she was.
