When Jasmine who was walking about with the servants behind her turned around, she saw her parents staying too close to each other. First of all, she stared at them for a short while before deciding to go back to their side while calling out to her father.
"Daddy! Daddy!." Jasmine called out in her cute voice as she quickly made her way to her parents in wobbly steps.
A big smile formed on Jia Li and Fu Hua's lips as they watched their daughter walk towards them hurriedly.
"I bet you that she is coming to separate us." Jia Li said in a low tone, She was talking from experience. She knew the little bun would be jealous if she saw them together, and would surely come to separate them.
"She is our daughter!." Fu Hua said with a low chuckle. The little bun looked so adorable as she made her way to her parents. And finally, when she got to their side, she raised her hands in the air and asked her father to carry her.
"Daddy…carry!." Jasmine said with a serious facial expression.
Jia Li leaned away from Fu Hua's chest so he could lift the little bun. Jasmine finally relaxed after she settled on her father's thighs.
"You little girl, are you satisfied now?." Jia Li asked as she pinched her chubby cheeks. Jasmine hit her hands away and brought her father's hands around her waist.
"Who does she take after?." Fu Hua asked with a smiling gaze.
"I don't know because it's definitely not me." Jia Li denied it because she can't remember being this jealous anytime she saw her parents together when she was young.
"If she doesn't take after you, then she takes after me. Although I can't remember acting like this when I was younger, I'm sure I wouldn't want anyone near the person I love." Fu Hua replied with a smile.
Fu Hua admitted that he was a jealous person, which was true. He knew that since he discovered how much he loved Jia Li. He wouldn't want anyone to get close to his wife especially people of the opposite gender.
"I agree with you, she definitely takes after you, and that's the reason she loves separating us anytime she sees us together." Jia Li responded.
Jasmine was oblivious to what her parents were talking about. She felt fulfilled in her father's arms while knowing that he belonged to her.
From the beach, the family of three went to have lunch before retiring back to their hotel room. The next day, they took a flight to another country, the US.
Fu Hua wanted to show his little Princess Disneyland Park in California, so he made arrangements before their travel.
Jasmine was little but she was still astonished to see the sleeping beauty Castle. She watches a lot of Disney Princesses cartoons, so she was familiar with Princess Aurora.
Although Jasmine could not understand much, she still had a lot of fun. After touring 2 more countries, the family of three returned to China with the presents they got for everyone.
Jasmine was happy to see her great grandfather who always gave her a lot of goodies. She was all over him throughout that day. And the next day in the morning, she went to the strawberry garden with him.
The cute food monger could not resist food and when she saw the strawberries the old man picked and put inside the basket, she called out the name of the fruit and leaned over to pick one for herself.
Butler Lu who was standing close to the little bun took the fruit from her and put it back into the basket. Before the little bun could protest because she looked annoyed, Grandfather Fu smiled and said to her…
"Da Xia, the fruit is dirty and needs to be washed before you can eat them."
"Dirty," Jasmine repeated after him as she pointed at the strawberries in the basket.
"Yes, they are dirty." Grandfather Fu said with a smile before glancing over at Butler Lu to instruct him to wash one of the fruits ? and bring it for Jasmine.
A few minutes later, the washed strawberry was handed over to the little bun, but she refused to collect it. She hid her hands behind her and moved backward while calling the fruit, 'dirty'
Hearty laughter escaped from the old man's lips as he watched his great granddaughter's cute actions. He had to intervene so the little bun could accept the fruit.
Grandfather leaned towards the little girl and said to her in a doting tone, "Da Xia, collect it, this one has been washed, you can eat it."
Jasmine trusted her great-grandpa, and so she collected the fruit from Butler Lu and took a bite from it. Loving the taste, the little bun took another bite and chewed on it.
Seeing how full her mouth was and how some of the fruit juices were dripping from the corner of her lips, Grandfather Fu smiled and took his handkerchief from Butler Lu and used it to wipe the corner of the little girl's lips.
Jasmine made a cute gesture by offering the strawberry in her hand to the old man so he could have a bite.
Grandfather Fu didn't want to disappoint the little girl, so he leaned in to take a small bite and thanked her thereafter.
"Da Xia, do you like it?." Grandfather Fu asked with a smile, and Jasmine nodded and said after him, "Like it."
"Good! When we finish collecting the fruits, I will let you have more." Grandfather Fu said while pointing at the riped strawberries that were still on their branches ?
Jasmine nodded in understanding before going to sit on a small chair Butler Lu showed her to go to. The rule Jasmine learned about dining, was that she had to seat while eating or drinking, and she always obeyed it.
After collecting a lot of fruits, Grandfather Fu took the little bun's hand and led her towards the house.. The height difference was much, but anyone that saw this scene would only feel love and admiration in their hearts.
