"Jun, what did you say to Yang Peng before you two got married?." Old Mrs. Bai asked with a deep frown. She was thinking that if her granddaughter really said anything insulting to Yang Peng, then she really deserved what she was getting.
There was silence for a few moments as Bai Jun received to speak. The third daughter-in-law sewing that Bai Jun refused to speak, made a suggestion.
"Jun, I can see that you are not able to talk anymore, so why don't I narrate the whole story to everyone, then if I'm lying, you can confirm it."
Without waiting for Bai Jun to say anything, the third daughter-in-law went on to narrate the story of the exchange of words between Bai Jun and Yang Peng, much to everyone's horror.
Bai Jun never told her mother about this, so she was quite shocked learning all of these right now.
Bai Jun cursed the day she met her Aunt. She thought she wasn't going to speak about it since she forgave her when it happened, but it looked like she has been saving the story for today.
"Jun, did you really say that to Yang Peng?!" Old Mrs. Bai asked in an authoritative tone. She was so angry for the kind of granddaughter that was raised in her family. Her granddaughter was busy crying and blaming Yang Peng while she has been the one at fault.
"Grandma… Grandma, I really did say that, but I had no choice as I didn't have any control of my anger." Bai Jun said in a low tone as she lowered her head. If that very day was to repeat itself, she would still take the same step, because she hated Yang Peng so much for embarrassing her.
"You dared to tell your husband that you loved another man a few days before married, and you said you didn't have control of your anger?!" Old Mrs. Bai scolded angrily as she pointed fingers at Bai Jun.
"Bai Jun, don't tell me that you still like Fu Hua? OMG! What kind of disgusting personality do you have? Mother, I think we have to do something about this." The first daughter-in-law suggested.
Bai Fen got so angry that she immediately scolded the two daughters-in-law. "You two had better stop putting words in mother's mouth. Don't accuse my daughter of indiscipline."
Old Mrs. Bai felt a big headache coming as she raised her hand to massage her temples before glancing at Bai Jun to ask a very serious question.
"Bai Jun, do you still like Fu Hua?."
If it was before, Bai Jun's heart would have been pounding nervously out of guilt, but right now, the same heart that held affection for Fu Hua held as much hate as the previous feelings she had for him.
Bai Fen was a bit tense and immediately denied those words before her daughter could say anything, as she was scared she might say the wrong thing.
"Allow Jun to speak, and don't say anything again!." Old Mrs. Bai warned with a deep frown.
There was no need to think twice about the matters of her current heart, so Bai Jun decided to come out with her real feelings.
Slowly looking up at her grandmother as tears of pain filled her eyes, Bai Jun said to her, "Grandmother, I don't if you will believe me or not, but that doesn't matter because it is the truth. I don't like Hua of the Fu family."
The first and the third daughters-in-law were taken aback by Bai Jun's way of speaking. This was the first time she was addressing Fu Hua as such, and it was filled with disrespect.
Bai Fen glanced at her daughter in surprise. She had different thoughts going through her head at the moment.
Seeing everyone's curious gazes on her, she wiped her tears and continued, "Before, I might have had a little hope of getting together with him, but not anymore. I hate him so much now, and the people from the Fu family."
"You hate Fu Hua? Is this a joke or something else?." The first daughter-in-law asked with a frown.
"Are you trying to use another method to try and deceive us?." The third daughter-in-law asked with a smirk. She didn't trust Bai Jun one bit after how sly she has been in the past.
"I don't need anyone to believe me, because I don't care anymore." Glancing back at her grandmother, Bai Jun said with determination in her tone, "Grandmother, I want to get a divorce."
"What?!" The two women exclaimed in shock, as they didn't expect Bai Jun to bring up the kind of suggestion. They thought she would ask for Yang Peng to be punished, or ask to stay in the Bai house for some time, but she went beyond their imagination.
Bai Fen didn't know what her daughter was up to, as they didn't have any discussion before this meeting, but she could only stand and watch.
"Bai Jun, do you know what will happen if you get a divorce?." Old Mrs. Bai asked. She didn't truly believe her granddaughter so she was testing her.
"I will have to quit my work in FJ, which I'm ready to do. I don't want to work where my coworkers hate me and refuse to speak to me. I don't want to work with people that isolate me and don't care about me. I want to get out from this bondage!." Bai Jun screamed as more tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Jun, you want to quit your job at FJ?." Bai Fen asked in shock. The suggestion she made on that day Fu Meixu punched her, was to kill her feelings for Fu Hua, and about quitting her job, she couldn't remember saying that.
"Yes, Mum, I am tired of everything. My life is ruined already, I want to take a long break." Bai Jun said with her gaze on her mother.
Bai Fen felt for her daughter and decides to allow her so what she wanted. Her daughter has suffered too much after struggling to love someone that has never once glanced at her.
"Are you sure that you want to quit your job in FJ?." Old Mrs.. Bai asked after a deep sigh.
