After Fu Hua and Jia Li returned from the hospital and went into their bedroom, Fu Hua phoned his father to make a report.
"Father, your wife tried to kill my unborn child during breakfast." Fu Hua said to his father through the phone, while Jia Li sat on the bed and listened.
"I have a grandchild? Your mother tried to kill my grandchild?" Fu Lei asked in a cold tone. He sounded as if he was about to murder somebody.
"Father, I called to tell about this, because I won't promise to remain calm if mother goes out of line again." Fu Hua said in a cold tone.
He was still very angry at his mother's guts for trying to kill his child.
"Hua, don't leave the house yet, I will hand over my remaining work to my deputy and come home tomorrow. I apologize on your mother's behalf." Fu Lei said in an emotionless tone.
He was quite angry with his wife for trying to kill an unborn child of the Fu family. It has been a long time since he disciplined her and it looked like she has forgotten her place.
When she went to the Bai family to talk about marriage plans without his consent, he let her go without talking about it. But it looked like she didn't know when to stop.
He wasn't fond of Jia Li but that did not mean that he had enmity against her and would try to harm her. Because of his profession, he wasn't always around, he didn't know how to interact with people.
State the conversation with his father, Fu Hua went into the inner room. While sitting on the bed, Jia Li hoped there wouldn't be a big problem because of her mother-in-law's act in the morning.
She didn't wish for a fight to break out because of her. She was already worried sick and didn't want to remain in the Fu house. She wanted to go back to the house that belonged to her and Fu Hua to hide easily from all the troubles.

At Grandfather Fu's request and to celebrate Jia Li's pregnancy, the family members submitted their proposal to him.
Grandfather was currently sitting in his study when Butler Lu walked in with white envelopes in his hand.
He kept them on the desk and said, "Sir, these are the proposals you requested from the family."
Grandfather Fu glanced over at them before fixing his reading glasses on his eyes. "Read them out to me."
"Yes, Sir." Butler Lu replied and picked up the first envelope and brought out the letter there and began to read its content.
"This one is a request from Miss Meixu. She wants the female lead role of 'The Filmmaker'."
"She really knows what she wants. Keep her request aside, I shall grant them. After now, make some investigations and contact the necessary people to give the role to her." Grandfather Fu said as he waved his hand.
Butler Lu kept the letter aside and said to himself how lucky Fu Meixu was. She didn't need to work towards the audition, she only needed to sit at home and wait to be called to receive the contract for the role she wanted.
Picking up the second envelope, Butler Lu read its content. "Grandfather, I want to take a break from work to relax in the Maldives this weekend. Please permit me and sponsor my trip."
"Who is it from?" Grandfather Fu asked with creased brows immediately after Butler Lu finished reading it.
Butler Lu cleared his throat and replied, "It's from young master YingPei."
"That lazy boy! He wants to take a break just after a year of joining FJ? Throw his request away and quickly go to the next one." Grandfather Fu said with a frown.
Butler Lu found Fu YingPei's request absurd. He wanted to laugh because of the old man's annoyance, but he abstained from it
Moving over to the next proposal which was from Fu Ling, Butler Lu read it out. "Sir, young master Ling wants to open a game company and he needs your help with the funds."
"How much?" Grandfather asked with interest. His grandson wanted to start a company, of course, he was very happy with it.
"$200K. He promised to pay back with interest after his company has stood firmly." Butler Lu added.
"Give it to him, he doesn't need to pay back." Grandfather Fu replied.
The next request was from Fu ChunHua. She asked for the old man's permission to allow her sister to visit after the new year's festival.
"Sir, everyone in Madam ChunHua's family is troublesome, will you listen to her request?" Butler Lu asked.
Fu ChunHua came from an average family and because of her family's standard, they sought to be connected to the wealthy and people of great importance.
Fu ChunHua was like that as well and that is why she hooked up with a man younger than her and found a way to be connected to him in marriage with her family supporting her from behind.
For a member of Fu ChunHua's family to come over, that would mean there was a possibility of the person causing trouble because of greed.
"She wants her sister to come over for a visit? That's fine but only on one condition. The rules I made will not be broken. I don't want an outsider causing trouble in my family." Grandfather Fu said.
He approved the request as long as Fu ChunHua would remember the rules and ask her sister not to cause trouble during her visit.
"Are there any other requests?" Grandfather Fu asked.
"No, Sir!" Butler Lu replied.
"It's okay, I will take care of the rest!" Grandfather Fu said.
He wasn't surprised that Jia Li and Fu Hua did not request anything, he already expected, so he planned to do something for them. As for his children, he would also take care of that.
Grandfather Fu did not ask about Fu Hee because he didn't care. Even if she had made a request, Grandfather would not have considered it. After all, she was black-hearted and always went against him.
