Cheng Shuyu was disappointed that Jing Jie only said one word after she said so much, and the answer that he gave was not the one that she wanted to hear.
“Jing Jie, I am your mother! How could you leave me here? You will be punished by god!”
Jing Jie flushed with fury, but there was nothing coming out of his mouth.
Jinqian couldn’t stand it anymore and opened her mouth instead, “Don’t worry. You’re only sentenced to life imprisonment, and will be here forever. You killed your own husband and child, but god still hasn’t punished you yet. Jing Jie is a good boy, so why would he be punished?”
