After 15 minutes of walk, the group finally arrived at the main building inside the royal palace area. The guard politely went back to his post since here too there was another guard.
The new guards who guarded the door heading to the main building were all startled seeing Long Ao Zhen appearances. It’s been a long time since the prince last went to the hall to meet the Emperor and the man suddenly appeared!
“Long live your highness. His majesty is currently not inside the hall. Should this servant inform his majesty?” The guard saluted again after giving his greeting. The guard had a similar appearance to the guard who had just left now.
Li Shi Ying had a feeling that these two might be a cousin or something but little did she knew that a low-ranked dragon had a similar appearance to each other.
In dragon race to there was a hierarchy that one couldn’t ignore. How to distinguish the hierarchy? They only need to see each person appearance. The better the transformation form, the higher their rank is.
For example, the highest rank in the race would be the royal family. Their appearance wasn’t only the best but they also looked just like a human being without a horn or any kind of special traits.
The rank below the royal family would be the noble or high-ranked official like generals, prime minister and such. This rank had a perfect appearance just like a human too but their beauty couldn’t be compared to the royal family.
Yan Fenghuang was in this rank. She’s the daughter of the kingdom’s most respected general so she had a perfect human appearance but of course, her beauty was lacking compared to the empress.
The third rank below the noble family was normal officials. They had horns on their head even though the other part of the body was perfectly just like a human.
The fourth rank even lower would be the servants, maidservants and guards. These dragons had horns on top of their head and scales at some part of their body. If the servants or the maidservants were children of officials and not from a normal family, they won’t have scales.
The guards, however, would have scales at some part of their body and their appearance would be a bit similar to each other. The previous guard had scales remaining on his chest and this guard in front of Li Shi Ying had black scales on his face.
This made Li Shi Ying a bit startled. She didn’t know that not all dragons could take on human appearance as perfect as Long Ao Zhen.
“Yes. Tell father I’m back” Long Ao Zhen paused a bit before he answered. The man then went to a long bench near the door and sat down while dragging Li Shi Ying with him.
He noticed Li Shi Ying’s weird expression and he guessed that she acted like that because of the scales remaining on that guard’s face. His bunny should be taught a lot of things about the dragon race.
This is a good time. While he waited for his father to come, he would tell Li Shi Ying everything she needed to know. After all, she would be his empress so she had to learn a lot of things about dragons.
“Yes, your highness. At your command” the guard immediately went to get a servant to deliver the news that the crown prince was back.

“What?? My son is back?” The emperor stood up from his chair in shock. He was finishing the document in his working room when a servant came delivering this news.
“Yes, your majesty. Not only that, this servant is told by the guard that his highness brings a human girl with him” The servant keep on kneeling on the floor not daring to stand up before he was told so.
“Human girl!” The emperor looked at the servant with sparkling eyes yet his tone of voice was as strict as usual making the servant almost peed his pants. He thought that the emperor was mad at his highness because he brought a human with him.
“H-his highness asks your majesty to go to the main hall for a formal audience…” The servant pretends to be deaf toward the emperor’s reaction. He delivered the last message before he prayed for the human so she could stay alive.
He caught a glimpse of the girl and she’s so beautiful that it was a pity to kill her just like that. That human girl was literally an angel! He won’t believe she was a human if not for her body not excluding any energy.
“Yes yes, I’ll go there now. Ya’an fetch me my robe!” The emperor excitedly answered. He then ordered his personal servant to dress him up nicely.
Finally, he would be able to meet his daughter-in-law! Oh, he had always wanted a daughter but for the dragon to have even 1 child was already a blessing. Well now he could have a daughter-in-law though.
