“Good” Long Ao Zhen took Li Shi Ying hand and took a deep breath. The man used his divine energy to change his appearance back to the original one.
His long black hair slowly turned dark green like how he should look like. His golden-eyed colour stayed the same but one could see a straight line inside his iris making his eyes looked like a lizard eyes for sure now.
The change in Long Ao Zhen’s appearance didn’t shock Li Shi Ying. She knew the man had to resume to his original appearance but it’s just that…she wasn’t used to Long Ao Zhen with dark green hair.
Seeing him like this only reminded her of their first meeting!
“Ying’er, take out the talisman. We will depart now” The man asked the girl to take out the talisman activate the teleportation talisman out of sudden. This made Li Shi Ying snapped out from her thought.
“Okay,” Li Shi Ying nodded and took out the talisman before she slowly activated it.
The moment Li Shi Ying activated the talisman, the two of them along with Nessie were enveloped in bright light before they disappeared.
Long Kingdom Royal Palace.
“We’re here,” Long Ao Zhen told Li Shi Ying when they arrived in front of a huge building apparently the main building in the royal palace. This should be the building used by the emperor to do morning court.
“This is the palace…” Li Shi Ying looked around and saw gold everywhere. Not only gold, but there were also a lot of jewels and precious stones.
Starting from the outer look of the building which resembles a flat pagoda, Li Shi Ying closely observed the building. The building was painted in red and gold giving off a very strong vibe.
The front gate of the building had the same dragon craving on it and one could see a few guards were stationed there. Of course, all the guards had horns on top of their head.
These guards were dragons too!
Looking further…behind the gate was a vast front yard laying right in front of the lavish pagoda-like building. As expected of a royal palace even the yard was this vast!
[Quite good. This lizard here…is he a prince?] Nessie who was silent all along because he didn’t want to disturb the couple happy ’honeymoon’ suddenly spoke. Li Shi Ying would almost forget Nessie presence if the man didn’t speak at all.
[You just know? He’s the crown prince of the dragon race here] Li Shi Ying answered Nessie with a look of disbelief. She thought that Nessie already knew since maybe he could sense the unique aura Long Ao Zhen had.
It turned out Nessie didn’t know at all ah.
[How can I know? I’m not a fortune teller! But for this guy to be a prince…unbelievable. I don’t know dragons here live together. In my world, dragons live alone by themselves separated from each other]
Nessie shook his little head and his voice sounded a bit sad. He knew that the dragons in his world were too proud to even live together with their race but…he actually wanted to live together with his race.
It was lonely to live alone for a long time. Now he envied Long Ao Zhen more than before.
[…cheer up] Li Shi Ying patted Nessie’s back and didn’t say anything anymore. The girl only stared at the palace building with a blank face not knowing what to do with Nessie and with her own problem she had to face sooner or later.
“Let’s go inside” Long Ao Zhen saw Li Shi Ying didn’t move from her spot and could only drag her to the gate. He thought that his bunny was afraid to go inside. Why should she be afraid? He’s here with her! No one would dare to harm her as long as he’s right beside her.
“Wait we will go now?” Li Shi Ying stole a glance to the guards guarding the gate. The girl gulped nervously. What if she wasn’t allowed to go in? She’s human! There hasn’t been even a single human stepping to the royal palace of the dragon race.
She felt like she would be chased out anytime.
“Yes, we will go now. With me here you don’t have to worry” Long Ao Zhen took a long stride while pulling Li Shi Ying to follow him. The man immediately made it to the front gate while Li Shi Ying already broke in a cold sweat.
God!! She really would enter the royal palace! Oh my oh my 😵
The guards were already aware that there was someone approaching them but they didn’t react at all. That was the procedure after all. Only when they could saw the face of the visitor clearly, the four guards immediately saluted.
“Long live your highness the crown prince! Welcome back!”
The guards all bowed politely with their back bent to 90° degrees startling Li Shi Ying greatly.
Such a formal greeting! Looks cool though. She got goosebumps already.
