This means she couldn’t afford to lose the battle at all. If she loses, even though the first battle their team would win…they would still lose the tournament! This couldn’t happen at all, at any cost.
The tournament system was like any other tournament after all. There would be four teams that advanced to the final. The first battle would determine which two teams could fight in the last battle to win the prize, as well as put their academy’s pride on the line.
“Alright, and this is the last rule that is made just this year because of special circumstances. Participants that are translators aren’t allowed to use their talismans in the battle.”
