A…flying ship?
Li Shi Ying raised her head to see the ship clearly. Sunlight shone upon the big ship, making the ship glow in a strange, glorious light. It was already majestic, to begin with, but with sunlight as the lighting, the ship looked like a ship for immortals.
She had read tons of xianxia novels like this, and she could spot a flying ship artefact mentioned there. Before seeing the real deal, she could only see a flying ship as an air balloon in the shape of a boat.
But now seeing the real deal so close…it is really like a ship, a luxurious one she often saw on TV just like this one, floating on air.

“They had arrived at the island last night so what’s the use of this grand entrance?” Long Ao Zhen murmured in annoyance seeing Li Shi Ying’s eyes sparkle in amazement. The girl was obviously amazed by the floating ship coming to get them.
It’s just a floating- maybe, a flying ship. What’s so good about it? His palace had tons of those!
“Ah right, I don’t know why they came to this island last night just to make a grand entrance the next morning.” Li Shi Ying quickly snapped out of her daze as she thought about what Long Ao Zhen said.
Why the hell were these people so complicated?
Little did she know that the staff last night were there to ’clean up’ the corpses of the students, as to not burden the people living on the island. They were on the island last night only to do a massive clean up!
The ship slowly descended from the sky, making the wind blow hard on the beach. A few students who were too close to the ship couldn’t help but back up in order to not get flung away by the strong wind.
Seeing how the ship descended, Li Shi Ying was reminded of a plane or a jet in her old world. The way they descended as they created strong winds was exactly the same!
This flying ship is really interesting if only she could have one…
“Look, someone came out!” Just as Li Shi Ying stared at the ship, the other students couldn’t help but gasp while pointing to the ship’s deck.
They saw a young man with green clothes suddenly jumping from the ship’s deck down to the beach with one light jump. The ship was quite tall for someone to casually jump right away, making the other students gasp in awe.
“Are these all the students left?” The green-clothed guy who was secretly in disguise, dusted off the sand at the edge of his clothes as he asked the elder next to him, who also stepped down following him.
His shiny black hair was fluttering on the air, being blown by the strong wind coming from the ship behind him as he walked towards the crowd of students not far from his place.
“I think so, my lord.” The elder scanned the students who gathered at the beach and quickly answered the green-clothed guy’s question.
Actually, he was kinda surprised to see how the students who managed to survive were only this little. It’s only around 20 students, where in fact there must be around 50 students or more who managed to arrive safely at the island.
“Hmm, why is it so few?” The green-clothed guy couldn’t help but become suspicious as he stopped walking and instead, stopped for a while to scan the students waiting nervously for him.
“I believe that it’s because of your disciple-to-be. She defeated 30 students all at once when her team was about to be robbed by those students.” The elder couldn’t help but chuckle, recalling the scene he witnessed using his unique technique.
He saw how the girl cleaned up her opponents in a beautiful way. She only created a typhoon out of nowhere using her talisman and in mere minutes, all of her opponents were defeated.
Such a talented young girl really was suited to become his lord’s inheriting disciple!
“I see…then you go there to collect the treasure they got. Remember, only students who had collected at least 3 treasures could board the ship. The rest, just leave them behind. Let their academy come to pick them up.”
The green-clothed guy waved his hand, ordering the elder to do the ’selecting’ since he would just stand here near the ship while observing his disciple-to-be.
From what he knew, this girl was in a relationship with that mythological beast! It’s not like he was against it, but this situation would only bring harm to his disciple-to-be.
Dating a mythological beast was like playing with fire! He had to coax his future disciple to break up with that mythological beast, else his future disciple will get hurt in the future.
“Alright students, gather here and show me all of the treasures you got. Anyone who doesn’t have at least 3 treasures with them will be disqualified and will be left on this island, now line up!”
The elder used a technique to make his voice louder as he told the students what they should do.
At least 3 treasures to pass, and those who didn’t have 3 would be left behind on the island? That’s just cruel!
