She had the urge to throw up!
“Ukh…u….huekh!!” Li Shi Ying suddenly threw up, her vomit covering both her clothes and hands.
!!!
“Miss!!” Chen was lucky that he didn’t get splashed by the vomit, but the smell was still really disturbing. Moreover, they were inside a carriage.
Li Shi Ying threw up a few more times while crying over how her stomach didn’t feel well. Chen couldn’t find anything to hold the girl’s vomit, so her puke splashed all along the carriage floor.
It was so disgusting but strangely, he didn’t feel that disgusted. As a man who loved cleanliness, he should get irritated over this incident but…
Somehow, all Chen could care about was Li Shi Ying’s pained expression; She continued to cry after throwing up, her sickly figure pitiful to the eyes.
TING TING TING!
Chen hurriedly rang the bell, while consoling Li Shi Ying with a drink of warm water. He then quickly gathered the dirty blanket and avoiding the vomit splattered on the carriage’s floor.
GRAK.
“Your highness what’s wr- EEHHH??? What’s with this smell???” Jiu Wei who opened the carriage door, immediately covered his nose when he entered the carriage.
“Li Shi Ying threw up, let’s get her out of here first. Then ask Di Yu to clean up this mess.” Chen didn’t hesitate to carry Li Shi Ying out from the carriage, regardless of her clothing soiled with vomit.
Jiu Wei looked over the carriage’s interior and sighed. His mistress really did throw up! Seemed like her fever was bad…
“Di Yu! Come here! I need you to clean up this mess!!” Jiu Wei exited the carriage as he called Di Yu over to clean the carriage’s interior.
They need to do something about the smell first though.
Di Yu who was forced to clean the vomit had the urge to hurl too!!
Why the hell was he the one who had to clean up the mess?? He had a sensitive nose, so he had to stay inside until the carriage was clean again?!
This is child abuse!
Chen rested Li Shi Ying upon the ground as he took out water from his spatial ring. He also took his handkerchief out and slowly wiped Li Shi Ying’s mouth with it.
Li Shi Ying had already fallen asleep as she was too tired after puking, so it made easier for Chen to clean off her dirty face.
After 30 minutes of being washed, the carriage was finally sanitary again and the smell had been hidden with a fresh fragrance Jiu Wei put inside.
Di Yu had also replaced the blanket inside with an unsullied blanket. What good doggo.
Chen and the group had finished cleansing the carriage. They were about to continue their journey, but they suddenly remembered one issue!
The problem was….Li Shi Ying’s body and garments were dirty….they had to change her outfit and wash her body before they could continue the journey.
But…all of them were male!! How could they change Li Shi Ying’s clothes and clean her body?? This was so embarrassing!
“Let me be the one to dress and bathe her.” Chen eventually volunteered to be the one in charge of changing and bathing Li Shi Ying. After all, he was Li Shi Ying’s husband, so there was no way he could let another man do this to his wife!
“Okay then, hmm… should we continue the journey?” Jiu Wei secretly sighed in relief, as he wouldn’t have to bathe his mistress. It would surely be too embarrassing right??
“No. Let us stop here for today. Li Shi Ying can’t continue the journey in this state.” Chen brought Li Shi Ying back into the carriage after asking Jiu Wei to stop at the next available place.
Even though it was still afternoon…it seemed that they were going to need to stay for a whole day. Li Shi Ying’s condition made it impossible for them to continue the journey.
She might throw up again if they continued moving forward!
10 minutes later…
Jiu Wei stopped the carriage in a nearby village, renting two rooms for their group. He will sleep with Di Yu, while Chen would stay with Li Shi Ying to take of care of her. So, Jiu Wei decided to just put Chen inside of Li Shi Ying’s room.

Chen first covered the bed with a spare blanket, so the bed wouldn’t be stained when he set Li Shi Ying down.
Chen had gotten a bucket of water and some clean fabrics, but somehow, he hesitated.
I-if he changes Li Shi Ying clothes now then wouldn’t he see her naked body?? Not only that…he also had to wash her body with this fabric and water!!
Then wouldn’t he also be touching her body??? Should he close his eyes…but he was afraid he would mistouch if he closed his eyes!!
….H-he was technically Li Shi Ying husband, right? So maybe…
Ahh, let’s just get over with this as fast as possible!!
Chen peeked at Li Shi Ying before slowly removing her clothes, his face as red as a tomato.
