Chen opened Li Shi Ying room door hurriedly, awaking Li Shi Ying who had just fell asleep.
Long Ao Zhen quickly arrived next to Li Shi Ying bed but….he was stucked. He didn’t know what to say. It seemed that Ying’er was still angry at him…what should he said???
Li Shi Ying didn’t bother to leave her bed and just stay laying there while hugging the pink panther. She even pulled her blanket closer to her face, refusing to met Chen’s face. She hate it when someone woke her up in the middle of the night!
There was an awkward atmosphere inside the room as Li Shi Ying was stubborn not to met Chen and Chen didn’t know what he had to do.
“Ehem!” After 10 minutes of silence, Chen finally made a noise. He cleared his throat and slowly…stretched out his hand to Li Shi Ying head.
Then Chen stroked Li Shi Ying head gently with his right hand as he looked at her with his head dropped down. He remembered his mom said that women liked it when someone stroke their head gently.

Li Shi Ying felt a big and warm hand stroking her head and her previous anger slowly vanished. She did like it when someone stroke her head gently like this. It made her sleepy.
Chen hand…is big and warm….especially in winter like this time….it is comfortable.
Li Shi Ying then turned her body facing Chen as she slowly lowered her blanket which had been covering her face. She saw Chen awkwardly stroke her head and he looked dejected.
He looked exactly like a big cat in Li Shi Ying with his imaginary ears dropped down in a pitiful way.
This scene was so cute in Li Shi Ying mind. Chen was usually cold but now he looked much more gentler than he used to be. This somehow made Li Shi Ying felt that she was getting closer to Chen.
With a cute giggle, Li Shi Ying said “So…what do you want to say?”
Long Ao Zhen who was previously dejected instantly straighten his back and his eyes brightened. He looked energetic as he told Li Shi Ying that he would absolutely go to the festival with her so there was no need for Jun Li Wen to come along.
They would go alone, just the two of them.
Li Shi Ying was excited hearing Long Ao Zhen words and couldn’t help but smile like a child. She was still didn’t realize that the two of them would have a date tomorrow.
That night Long Ao Zhen went as far as ordering the emperor to forbid Jun Li Wen going out from the palace. He made sure that no one could disturb his precious alone time with Ying’er.
The poor crown prince could only curse Long Ao Zhen in his heart as he was grounded in his room by his father for a day.
The next day.
The festival began since evening so Li Shi Ying had especially dressed up nicely this time. She wore a soft pink clothes with peony embroidery on the skirt. She had even asked Jiu Wei to arrange her hair beautifully just for this day.
She still wore the golden bell hairpin and other ’accessories’ as she departed to the festival with Chen.
Jiu Wei and Di Yu, the poor sacred beast could only watch their mistress have fun without them as they too head off to finished their ’mission’.
Li Shi Ying looked beautiful when she was being dressed up like this that Long Ao Zhen himself was taken aback with her transformation. Today she wore a natural make up applied by the make up artist Jiu Wei, making her looked like an angel.
Long Ao Zhen secretly blushed when Li Shi Ying didn’t saw him but kept a cool appearance when Li Shi Ying saw him.
Long Ao Zhen a.k.a Chen was also dressed up by Jiu Wei as he said he needed to look less like a bodyguard. Jiu Wei choose a navy blue clothes with golden embroidery on the collar and the sleeves making Long Ao Zhen looked more handsome as usual in his ’Chen’ appearance.
Even though he wasn’t as handsome as before, he was still handsome. A lot of ladies who were heading to the festival, shyly took a peek at Chen handsome face and secretly felt jealous to Li Shi Ying who walked next to him.
Li Shi Ying too felt her heat beat fast everytime she looked at Chen handsome face. He was indeed more handsome than his usual appearance. He didn’t looked like a bodyguard at all! Chen looked like a handsome noble rather than a bodyguard.
Long Ao Zhen and Li Shi Ying arrived at the festival after 5 minutes walking on foot. The festival was very crowded with people the moment the two of them arrived.
“Ah!” Li Shi Ying petite body was quickly drowned in the sea of crowd when someone bumped her shoulder.
When Li Shi Ying was just about to get carried away by the crowd, a big hand grabbed her waist and pull her toward a big, sturdy body of a man.
