Li Shi Ying called upon the two most important figure in the kingdom. One was someone well-known because of his poison and the other was well-known because of his medical skill. “Lady Li doesn’t know Old Zhu at all but for him to be willing to testify…unlike Lady Yan who already prepared her people….” one of the guests spoke. He looked at his first asking for confirmation.
Somehow his heart believed that Li Shi Ying wasn’t guilty.
“Right. Lady Yan can lie since the witness she brought before is her people but Lady Li…her witness is Old Zhu and an imperial doctor! It’s impossible for her to bribe them or something”
The man beside the first one talking agreed to his friend’s words. Li Shi Ying was nobody before and if she really was guilty, as a loyal subject, Old Zhu and the imperial doctor won’t be willing to help her no matter what the girl offered.

“Let’s start with this senior doctor first” Li Shi Ying let the imperial doctor speak. Before the old man spoke, Yan Fenghuang somehow already sweat like crazy.

He gave the guests a resolution from his speech. He summarized it into one simple sentence. Li Shi Ying’s parents…weren’t the culprit!
Hearing this, Yan Fenghuang couldn’t stay silent. What kind of proof is that? Not all killer would be so merciless not to make the antidote, right? Maybe some would be cautious enough to produce the antidote! “That can’t prove that Lady Li’s parents aren’t the culprit. Maybe they make the antidote to being careful not to get poisoned too”
The girl shook her head refusing the doctor’s statement.
“If you don’t believe in that proof then…it is my turn to speak” Old Zhu coughed before he gathered his bravery. He couldn’t stay silent anymore. He had to tell the truth!
“I know Lady Li’s parents. In fact, they leave the antidote to the recipe to me because they are being hunted at that time.
