The City of Terror Chapter 194

Chapter 194 - Local God’s Estimation

Chapter 194 – Local God’s Estimation

Training Qi was something that was not baseless. There needed to be a foundation.

It was just like running. If a person did not have legs or hands or even muscles, then it was impossible to run.

Wei Xiao Bei guided his Qi to finish one cycle. Because of the properties of muscle reconstruction, his Qi became more abundant, turning his blood channels into a swollen water pipe.

When his Qi moved to the Hui Yin Acupuncture Point, he quickly surged it toward the Chang Qiang Acupuncture Point.

Bang!

Because the strength of the Qi was at its peak, it had broken through the end of his tailbone’s Hui Yin by 0.5 inches. When it connected to the anus’ Chang Qiang Acupuncture Point, he let out a fart.

Toward Wei Xiao Bei’s vulgar act, the messengers did not make any movement. They only stood outside the door without turning their heads, as if they were pieces of wood.

After breaking through the Chang Qiang Acupuncture Point, the Qi was like a surging river. It quickly moved up continuously, opening acupuncture points.

The flow of Qi was like a flooded dam surging violently.

In truth, Wei Xiao Bei was a bit fearful at the moment.

He had anticipated this kind of situation.

But he never expected that his Qi would surge this much. If his will was not firm enough to control the Qi, the Qi would have went the wrong way. If it was like that, he would have received heavy injuries and spit out blood.

The Qi flowed up his spinal column until the Feng Chi Acupuncture Point on the back of his neck and then all over his brain.

In truth, these acupuncture points could be called vital acupuncture points. Any mistake would have led Wei Xiao Bei to be afflicted with cerebral palsy.

Luckily, after passing through the Bai Hui Acupuncture Point at the top of his head, the Qi slowed down, allowing Wei Xiao Bei to regain complete control.

In the end, the blood channels were all linked up.

However, only doing this was not enough.

Afterwards, Wei Xiao Bei guided his Qi downward to return to the Chang Qiang Acupuncture Point to complete the cycle.

Having his sturdiness increase to 20 points did not only result in muscle reconstruction,, but it also had increased his height.

Most of his muscles, bones, and flesh would melt and then slowly reconstruct themselves.

Moreover, this process was not completed after happening once but would instead require many times.

In truth, if Wei Xiao Bei did not block out 90% of the pain, he would have died from it without getting away.

Moreover, this muscle reconstruction was a lot longer than the time that happened when his sturdiness reached 15 points.

Thus after completing two more small cycles, Wei Xiao Bei began to move his Qi from the Hui Yin Acupuncture Point and stopped at the You Men Acupuncture Point.

This was equivalent to circulating it through his eight meridians but with 14 acupuncture points.

This cycle had linked up more blood channels and acupuncture points, especially the three most important blood channels: Ren Mai, Yang Ming, and Shao Yin blood channels.

After opening these blood channels, the Qi flowing from these blood channels began flowing downwards to his Dantian.

Cycling Qi through each one  of these three blood channels was the same as receiving Qi from four ordinary blood channels. Every single new flow brought an abundance of Qi.

Afterwards, he continued to move his Qi upwards and then completed the cycle, returning to the Ren Mai blood channel.

The Qi that initially entered the Dantian surged out and split up, moving toward the 12 main channels and eight meridians merging with more Qi and then splitting up again.

After reaching their targets, the 12 main channels and eight meridians became unclogged.

Finally, he moved Qi from his Dantian through the largest blood channel and back to his Dantian, finishing one last big cycle.

After finishing three big cycles, Wei Xiao Bei felt the pain in his body dissipate. He immediately regained  his consciousness.

After a while, he noticed that he had not grown that much, only around 10 centimeters. From 1.9 meters, he was now 2.05 meters tall. However, his body size appeared to have increased by around five times. He lightly moved his body and flexed his muscles. He was simply more robust than Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Terminator movies.

Moreover, his muscles were the so-called active muscles in martial arts.

The new ability that he gained was called [Body Crush].

Body Crush: When attacking, any creature with a smaller body than the host would receive more damage due to the difference in body size. Damage increased by at least 30% and at most 100%.

This was a very special ability.

In simpler terms, it was bullying others with his body size.

It was like a battle between an elephant and a leopard, where the leopard would not be able to affect the elephant no matter how much it struck at it, but one hit from the elephant would be enough to kill the leopard.

Naturally, for Wei Xiao Bei, this [Body Crush] ability was only a bit useful.

Afterall, a lot of monsters in the Dust World had a bigger size than him.

However, if this ability was used correctly, it would still be able to deal a lot of damage.

The only awkward thing was that with all his muscles bulging and his increase in height, his clothes had torn in some places to the point that it was unwearable anymore.

Luckily, the messengers did not say anything, but they quickly signaled each other and brought forth simple clothes.

They were very simple, but they were in truth clothes from ancient times. Wei Xiao Bei did not mind it too much and felt that having something to wear was already quite good.

After he put on the clothes, the local god returned to the big hall and once again prepared tea to have an idle chat with Wei Xiao Bei.

Naturally, the new tea was not some Fortune Tea but ordinary tea.

Compared to the Ming Lun Envoy, there were only a few worries that the local god had expressed with words. This was perhaps due to guarding the place alone and the difficulty of meeting another person.

In general, the questions that Wei Xiao Bei asked were mostly answered. This made him slightly go giddy with joy.

However, what Wei Xiao Bei was curious about was why the local god also called this place Bai Ta County of the Dust World. It seemed to contain many mysteries, but he could not ask about it.

From the local god, he found out that the Bai Ta County was supervised by the Shing Wong, and the local god was a land god that was a direct subordinate to the Shing Wong.

In short, the Shing Wong’s official managed the Bai Ta County, but most of the power was in the Bai Ta Hill.

Bai Ta Hill was a sacred mountain that suppressed evils. It could be considered as Bai Ta County’s strongest organization.

On Bai Ta Hill, there were immortal protectors and land gods. The highest rank was the Ming Lun Envoy.

Ge Da Tian sighed. After saying all these things, his face let out a bit of envy.

Wei Xiao Bei was very curious about whether the local god, Shing Wong, and the others were just creatures of the Dust World, or if they had any relationship with reality. However, looking at the local god with the strength of a 2-Star Elite Creature who was able to render him unable to move at all, he knew that this local god might not be fake.

No matter what was said, if he was a real land god, why was there a need to envy the workers of Bai Ta Hill?

No matter how stupid Wei Xiao Bei was, he knew that being a worker was only the equivalent of being a servant. Compared to guarding one place as a local god, wouldn’t being a worker be worse by a few levels?

Although there was a lot of information to process, Wei Xiao Bei did not give up and continued asking after thinking for a while.

The local god was not suspicious about Wei Xiao Bei’s questions at all. He knew that Wei Xiao Bei was not from that place, but he had a relationship with the Ming Lun Envoy, so he did not hide anything.

“Sir Wei, you are only seeing how well-off I am right now. It is naturally not bad, but Sir Wei should have seen the ever expanding Evil Lands from the outside right?”

The local god sighed.

Wei Xiao Bei could not help but stare blankly. He thought about the little girl’s words and nodded, “Yeah, it was Evil Lands everywhere I came from.”

The Evil Lands was the dust-covered lands. This point Wei Xiao Bei understood. The lands could not grow any grass or trees.

“Hehe, it was not like that hundreds of years ago.”

The local god seemed to have considered something and unconsciously said this, but he immediately closed his mouth. No matter how much Wei Xiao Bei pursued this question, the local god did not say anything else and changed the topic, “Sir Wei had also seen the continuously expanding Evil Lands. I don’t even know how long my small temple would last.”

Form the local god’s words, Wei Xiao Bei came to a huge understanding.

It seemed that there was some kind of battle between the Evil Lands and the Blessed Lands.

Thirty years ago, the entire property of the local god reached more than 10 kilometers, but now it was a lot less than that.

As for why this was happening, the local god did not say anything.

However, Wei Xiao Bei understood that the local god was strong within his territory, but outside he was only a 2-Star Elite Creature.

Could this be the strength and weakness of the land god?

Even if he understood this, Wei Xiao Bei did not dare act recklessly.
