No sooner had she spoken than the burn returned. Xu Honggrabbed her throat again, her already pale face turning even whiter.

Xu Hong’s eyes welled with tears. She didn’t know how to explain it herself.
She was fine just a moment ago. Her suffering only returned after she had spoken.
She didn’t know what in the world was going on.
Furious and desperate, she pinched Liu Zhi’s side with all the strength she had left, all while glaring at him in disdain.
Liu Zhi seemed to understand what she was trying to say, and he whirled around to yell atYao Tangonce more.
“What the hell did you give my wife? Tell me right now! If you don’t cure her, I’ll be sure to beat the life out of you before handing you over to the police! First, you harm my mother-in-law, and now you’ve poisoned my wife. I will make you pay for this!”
After his declaration, Liu Zhitook out his phone and dialed the authorities.
But before the call could go through, Grandma Xuwoke up and sat up in bed. She looked around in confusion and rasped, “What happened here?”
Even as she asked them, her memories returned, starting from before she had fainted. She made to get out of bed, determined to seek justice for her loved ones.
