“It wouldn’t be good if this matter was blown out of proportions.” The teacher tried to explain, but her words only fell on deaf ears. However, at this moment, Yan Wei only felt that the teacher was only saying this to protect her student.
Yan Wei clenched her fists.
“I’m sorry, but I’ve already made a call. The police will arrive soon.”
She added, “Since they dare perform such an illegal act, then they should be punished, should they not? It’s the only way they can learn their lesson.”
The teacher was about to argue with her, but Cheng Yan interrupted, “Let her call them.” His voice was dripping with poison.

Just the thought of the principal was enough to make Qin Hao audibly groan.

He had to explain what was going on to the principal immediately. The last thing he needed was to dig themselves a deeper hole.
Why did he have to be the one cleaning up their mess? Qin Hao resisted the urge to tug at his hair. He deserved to be promoted after this!
Soon, a police car drove into the school campus.
People started pooling around the school gate, wanting to see what was going on. Their ears were perked up as they struggled to listen in.
As time passed, more of them started gathering around the gate.
As soon as the police came over, the crowd became even more rambunctious as they started whispering to one another. Yan Wei appeared much more confident as she pointed toward them. “They acquired these review materials from our school illegally. They filled up five truckfuls of them!”
The police nodded and looked through the books that had been stacked inside the trucks.
When it came to matters regarding International Middle School, the policemen were much more attentive. However, as soon as he saw Cheng Yan, he couldn’t help but greet him.
“Young Master Cheng,” he ended up stuttering out.
The young policeman changed his tone. “You’re here, too?”
Yan Wei pursed her lips.
This man actually knew someone from the police station. If that was the case, would it affect their final assessment?
“You should know that these matters affect the International Middle School. Given that you are an officer, I’d expect that you’d uphold the law fairly, right? You will enforce it impartially?”
The young policeman took one glance at Cheng Yan before nodding.
“No matter who is at fault, we will enforce the law impartially. This is something you shouldn’t be worried about, Miss.”
Yan Wei pointed a finger at Cheng Yan. “If that’s the case, then that person is the one who transported these trucks here.”
She added, “He’s responsible for all of this.”

Yan Wei blinked, scoffing.
“Don’t you care about the evidence? What? You just took one look at him and believe that he wouldn’t do such a thing? Isn’t that unfair?”
The man was stunned.
He was just stating facts. Did she not know who she was accusing?
Wasn’t he being logical?
“Don’t question my professionalism, Miss,” he said seriously. “I’m simply pointing out where you can be wrong. It has not been marred by personal bias. You have to believe me on that.”
