After the apology, Madam Meng and Meng Ling finally decided to leave. They had no other choice anyway.
Yao Ran stared at their departing figures, and pride shone on her face. It seemed that clinging to Yang Ming wasn’t a mistake at all. Look how quickly they all bowed down to her! Her eyes gleamed.
Old Madam Yao stared at her granddaughter, pursing her lips. It seemed that the young woman was far too blinded by power and desire that she didn’t even know what she had gotten herself into. “Two more weeks.” Yao Ran bowed her head, not daring to look up at him. The plan she had made was thrown to the back of her mind.
