Meng Yang bowed his head. Guilt filled his heart. “It’s all my fault,” he whispered. “I should’ve had some sweets on me. Now, she’s fainted.”
His remorseful words echoed across the room.
They all fell silent.
The doctor slowly shook his head. “The girl doesn’t have low blood sugar, so having sweets on you wouldn’t help either,” he comforted. “You don’t have to blame yourself.”
However, his words of comfort didn’t work.
His eyes were bloodshot as he stared at his friend. If he had thought of everything earlier, things wouldn’t have been this bad. “It’s all my fault,” he continuously murmured. “It’s all my fault.”

All of them nodded in recognition.
“Qin Hao, call him over,” Cheng Yan ordered. “I don’t care what you do or say, just bring him back as soon as possible.”
