872 A Deal
“Are you really going to make things difficult for a couple who are devoted to one another?”
Director Wang spoke with great care as if he was just a young boy who was desperate for his elders’ approval. There was no pride or arrogance in his tone.
It was obvious that he adored her.
Yao Ran stared up at him.
All of this was thanks to her own hard work!
Although she had been dumped on the mountain road by Yao Tang, she was left in a more remote area. It was a good thing that she had managed to stop a car to take her back because her feet had been worn out from all the walking.
And the broken medicine bottle was not her final trump card as well!

The corners of her lips perked up.
When she returned to Jing City, she would ask someone to look for Director Yang and strike a deal with him. She’d give this bottle to him, but he had to agree to the engagement.

“Their marriage has already been arranged a long time ago, and the two have already met,” Old Madam Yao snapped. “You shouldn’t have decided it for them.”
Yao Ran raised her eyebrow. “That coral is a token of appreciation from Director Yang. The red coral is a rare treasure. If you don’t accept it, wouldn’t that be disrespectful to the Yang Family?”
The red coral glistened under the light.
“Please accept my gift. Just treat it as a birthday gift,” Director Wang was quick to interject. “I don’t have any other intentions.”
Qin Man also tried to persuade him, “Not everyone has this. Our Ranran truly is outstanding.”
She glanced over at Jiang Wan.
No matter what, no matter how powerful her future son-in-law was, it would be useless for them to be this envious.
They obviously wouldn’t walk down the same paths.
Upon thinking of Yao Tang, she couldn’t help but think back to the son-in-law she had found for her the last time. That was none other than Director Zhang.
As soon as she had thought of this, she couldn’t help but feel a little stifled. Now that Director Zhang had a successful career, the Zhang Group had further expanded and become a great corporation to be reckoned with.
His company had even entered City A’s Top 15.
Yao Tang could’ve been the leader of the Zhang Group.
The contract they had negotiated with the Yao Family was still on the table. Who knew how much profit it would bring to the Yao Family? They could’ve reached a new level.
Who would dare look down on her then?
Unfortunately, all her efforts had gone down the drain because that damned girl had offended him. Thankfully, he didn’t take any offense and had no issues with the Yao Family.
Otherwise, they would’ve been in different trouble.
Jiang Wan didn’t really have any specific thoughts on that matter. Instead, she snapped, “You don’t have to worry about our Tangtang. Just take care of your own child,” she said. “We’ll be the ones to handle what happens with her.”
She said all these through gritted teeth.
She couldn’t help but think back to the time Qin Man had chosen a blind date for Yao Tang. Hearing what she had done, she scowled.
