854 Who Exactly Are You?
The waters rippled around the door, spreading across the corners. A melody echoed around them. It was almost as if they had entered a dreamscape.
Meng Yang was dumbfounded. He stared at the door, unable to speak.
Was this magic?
What was going on?

Yu Chen, however, couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows. He couldn’t understand why it would take so long for the door to open.
“Eh?” Suddenly, a distinct voice was heard from the other side.
Everyone immediately jumped back, startled.
Qin Hao gripped the hilt of his dagger tightly, preparing himself to strike at any moment. No one had ever seen such a scene before, so it was normal for him to expect the unexpected.
If this wasn’t some sort of magic trick that the man had come up with, then there must be something dangerous hidden behind the door.
“Who are you? Why did you still bring them in? Who are they?”
The voice was crisp and clear, belonging to a young woman. Her voice carried a sense of dignity and coolness, enough to intimidate any person coming to see her.
Yu Chen breathed a sigh of relief.
This person must be the Valley’s array master!
At the entrance of the valley, the elite disciples of each family would be sent to guard the entrance. They weren’t supposed to let any outsiders enter or exit the perimeters.
While he wasn’t familiar with the person’s voice, he knew that the person belonged to a certain, prestigious family.
After all, the families of the Formation Masters have lived in the Valley for generations.
Every single one of them had resided in their own respective territory.
Yu Chen usually cultivated behind his own home, not visiting the other houses often. Naturally, he didn’t know who was in the Valley that day.

The small ditch and hillside in front of them was cloaked with a camouflage spell, which made it look as if they were in a middle of a barren land.
However, this was indeed the entrance.
Soon, a pretty woman’s face appeared in front of the illusory door. Her bright eyes were glaring at Yu Chen as she waited for his explanation.
Bringing people into the valley was a betrayal to the entire Valley.
This man was a traitor.
Yu Chen immediately bowed. “I’m Xiao Feng, the eldest son of the Xiao Family. I’ve returned with a few disciples on the orders of our elder.”
As soon as he said that, the situation became even more tense, and the surrounding air seemed to have frozen.
Everyone saw the woman furrow her eyebrows as her entire face darkened. She gazed at the young man as if she could see right through him.
“What’s wrong?”
Yu Chen stammered.
He had impersonated Xiao Feng, the genius of the Xiao Family. But it wasn’t like anyone had really seen him. The man appeared only once in a hundred years, staying up in his room the rest of the years.
Even if he was lying, who would know?
However, why did it feel like he had said something wrong?

“Do you know who I am?”
The girl raised her eyebrow. “Let me properly introduce myself,” she said cooly. “I’m Xiao Bing, Xiao Feng’s biological sister. We’ve just had breakfast together this morning if you’re really who you say you are. So let me repeat myself, who exactly are you?”
