Xia Shixiong’s analysis basically eased the worries he felt.
Xia Shixiong observed the Emperor closely and knew that his words had taken effect, “Though this gun may not look that flashy, it’ll surprise you with what it can do.”
He then signaled for Xia Houshang to come, “Houshang, show the Emperor what it can do.”
Xia Houshang took over the gun and said, “Ask someone to bring a cage of pigeons.”
Yin Lei ordered Xu Mian, “Send someone.”
Xu Mian, “Yes, your highness.”
When someone returned with a cage of pigeons, someone else came in to report, “Emperor, the young master has returned with his friends.”
Yin Lei looked over to Xia Houshang, “Houshang, let’s not rush it. You can show me when Yexuan is here. After all, Yexuan likes capable girls. It’s because Qiao Qing is good at many things and that was what attracted him.”
Xia Houshang actually stopped her movement. Compared to forcing him to be with her, wouldn’t it hurt that b**** Qiao Qing more if Jun Yexuan genuinely fell out of love and chose to be with herself?

Jun Yexuan frowned, “Why’s that my business? Why must I say hi?”
Xia Shixiong narrowed his eyes while Xia Houshang’s face froze.
Yin Lei wasn’t happy, “Yexuan, you’re being difficult.”
He then looked over to Xia Shixiong, “It’s been years since you last saw each other. I bet you he’s being shy.”
He then took the gun out of Xia Houshang’s hand and tried to give it to Jun Yexuan, “Yexuan, look, this is the latest gun Houshang designed. Isn’t it amazing?”
Jun Yexuan glanced at it and didn’t even take it, “Have you ever seen a lion tamer evaluate a stray dog? Compared to the God of Gun’s design, this is kindergarten level.”
The smile on Yin Lei’s face dissipated while the two from the Xia family appeared uglier than ever.
Qiao Qing, on the other hand, displayed a faint sight of affection towards Jun Yexuan after he spoke.
It only took Yin Lei a few seconds to respond back, “Though the God of Gun has great designs, Houshang’s design is good as well. It’s comparable to the God of Gun’s guns.”
“Plus, the God of Gun is a man. Men are better at this kind of stuff than women. Houshang is a woman, a young one at that. It’s already a miracle that she was able to come up with this in the first place.”
“At least amongst the girls, she’s unmatched. Plus, not only does she know how to design guns, but she can also shoot. Other than that secret God of Gun, I bet you she’s better than the men.”
