Qiao Qing was surprised by that answer and at once, felt like she was overthought it. She nodded, “It’s lovely.”
She commented before adding, “Then, did you get in contact with Duke Quan Zexi? What did he say?”
Wan Kaiyi was apologetic, “I’m sorry, miss. The Duke is out meeting with other government leaders and it will take him a week to return. He had asked me to let you know that if necessary, you can chat with him after he returns.”
Jun Yexuan chuckled, “How arrogant. Give me his contact info.”
Wan Kaiyi grinned, “Young master, please don’t make it hard for me. If I give out the Duke’s contact info, that’d be the end of my career. Plus, if you really do need to ask the Duke for a favor, it’s not a good move to get on his bad side.”

Qiao Qing grabbed his hand and said to Wan Kaiyi, “Then, thank you for your help.”
She spoke out a series of numbers, “My name is Qiao Qing and that was my phone number. Once the Duke is back, please let me know.”

He knew how lazy the Duke was.
Quan Zexi truly was as lazy as possible. Other than international affairs that he must take care of personally, he never stepped up or helped others when unnecessary.
