The MC blankly nodded, “So?”
“So we’ll compete purely based on skill. Everyone here can be the judge. Whoever is a better shooter wins.”
Mo Huan once again snickered at the idea, “How many tricks do you have up your sleeves? I sure want to see how you can do better than someone who scored a perfect score!”
Qiao Qing nodded, “Do you have a black handkerchief?”
MC once again was confused, “Why do you need that?”
Qiao Qing didn’t explain and asked again, “Do you have one?”
The MC was taken aback by her demeanor and nodded, “That’s easy to find.”
The MC then asked an employee to go find one.
Everyone at the scene exchanged glances and murmured over what Qiao Qing planned to do.
Mu Jinghang said to Jun Yexuan, “Is my sis-in-law planning on shooting while blinded? Isn’t that a joke? How can you see if your eyes are covered?”
Jun Yexuan ignored him and merely continued to stare at the girl up on stage. The girl up there was quiet but started to defend herself. The amount of affection in his eyes ooze.
It didn’t take long for the employee to come back with a black handkerchief.
Qiao Qing took it and folded it a few times. After she made sure it was completely blinding, she started to tie it around her head to cover her eyes.
Everyone screamed, “Oh my god, she’s going to shoot with her eyes covered!”
“I thought that was only doable in novels or TV shows?!”
“She can’t even see! How do you shoot?”
Mo Huan’s first reaction was also how impossible that was. She then thought of something and went up to snatch the handkerchief off of Qiao Qing’s head.
“You want to shoot blind? How do I know if you’re just faking to be good or to look cool? What if you folded it in a way that allows you to see?”
She then put the handkerchief on the table, “I’ll fold it and tie it!”
Qiao Qing didn’t object and quietly watched her.
Mo Huan folded it over again and again. Then, she used her own eyes as she tried to look through it. Only when she was certain that no light could seep through, did she walk over and tie it around Qiao Qing’s head.
As she tied it, she said, “Don’t think that the normal standard doesn’t apply to you just because you are shooting blind! Even with something over your eyes, you have to get a perfect score to win over sister Pingting! Don’t dream and think that just because you increased the difficulty, you can win with fewer points!”
Qiao Qing’s lips curled up almost deviously, “Naturally.”
The curl of Qiao Qing’s lips, especially when compared to Mo Huan’s face, made Gong Yi jolt up. His body straightened in his chair.
That blurry image in his head once again flashed across his brain. All he could feel was his heart beating fast.
There was a giant wave of shock, regret, disbelief, and anticipation. At once, his breathing thickened.
On his right, Mu Jinghang asked in confusion, “What’s wrong?”
Gong Yi ignored him and continued to stare at Qiao Qing. His gaze was so hot it could burn someone.
On his left side, Jun Yexuan’s eyes narrowed and he began to emit coldness.
Up on stage, Mo Huan was done with the handkerchief and had retreated. She snickered, “Alright, you can shoot! I sure want to see how long you can fake this!”
Shooting blind?! Qiao Qing definitely didn’t even know how to shoot! Or else no way would she have sat there in silence while being humiliated just now! She would’ve gone up there and challenged them!
Qiao Qing stood at the mark where the shooters all stood before. She didn’t nudge.
With a hand extended out, she said to the waiter, “Give me the bow and the arrows.”
