His words then made the hostages cry out in panic.

A cold voice pierced through the air. The hostages’ eyes brightened.
When Qi Yeli heard this voice, his brain went numb. He didn’t even listen to what she had said and instead, turned his head in disbelief.
When he saw that it was in fact, Qiao Qing, his heart quivered.
He screamed uncontrollably, “Why are you here?! Go back!”
Qiao Qing looked at him to calm him down before she walked over.
Qi Yeli was not at all comforted. He pushed away a nearby policeman and blocked her way, “Go back!”
The police team saw this unfold and was very confused.
Di Rong stared at Qiao Qing with a heated gaze.
“You sure have guts! You surprise me more than your father ever did! It was your dad who could endure the most out of everyone else. He was also my proudest project! I think you will be even more perfect than him!”
Qiao Qing’s eyes glazed over as a cold storm brewed in her eyes.
Towards Qi Yeli, who stood in front of her, she ordered, “**** off.”
Qi Yeli froze and subconsciously retreated due to her demeanor.
He rushed hard to stop Qiao Qing and only now processed what Di Rong had said. He couldn’t help but frown.

They exchanged glances, then eyed the gun they each had on their belt.

Qi Yusen added, “Stand behind us.”
Qi Yeli also walked up, “Qingqing, retreat. No matter what kind of hatred you have against that man, we will help you resolve it.”
Qiao Qing was a little surprised and felt a little bad about her attitude just now.
Qi Yuyang then grabbed onto Qiao Qing and moved her backward, “Qingqing, they’re all right. Let them act on your behalf and free your people. Just stand here and watch. If there’s danger, I’ll be your shield.”
