His words silenced the lecture hall and Dai Yixian’s throat tightened.
After he spoke, Fu Xiuyu suddenly had a realization, “Feng Ci’s book, ‘Floating and Sinking’, is written from the perspective of an entrepreneur and the most influential figure in an organization. You’re only a departmental director, which means you work for others. It makes sense that you wouldn’t get the book.”
His words made the crowd laugh.
Dai Yixian felt like her face had been slapped – it hurt.
She looked over to Fu Xiuyu, “If I remember correctly, Mr. Fu also works at Sky Entertainment. It’s work hour right now, why are you here?”
Fu Xiuyu said, “I’m dropping my girlfriend off at school. I was passing by here and saw someone lying with her eyes open. Since you’re openly defaming someone, then I felt the need to step out.”
“Also, director Dai, as you said, it’s work hours right now. Isn’t it also unprofessional for you to be here instead of being at work? Did you tell your manager about this? Just so you know, I did ask mine before coming here.”

The crowd laughed again.

Fu Xiuyu left the room after and then bent down to look at Lin Xiyan, “I helped out Yanyan’s friend. What award does Yanyan have for me?”
Lin Xiyan blushed, stepped on her tiptoe, and pecked his cheek. Then, she turned around and ran away.
She didn’t get far when she ran into a boy.
When Fu Xiuyu saw the man’s face, his handsome face froze.

After the interlude at the lecture hall, Dai Yixian bounced back and restarted her lecture.
Luo Chen stopped listening and said to Qiao Qing, “I don’t think she’s a kind bean.”
Qiao Qing ignored him and flipped over another page of her book. She acted as if what happened just now was unrelated to her. She didn’t pay Dai Yixian the slightest attention.
After two hours passed, Dai Yixian’s lecture ended and she cleaned up to leave.
Qiao Qing didn’t have any more classes so she left as well.
On the way out of campus.
Dai Yixian’s assistant, Su Yan, was confused, “I thought you enjoyed her book when you first read it?”
Dai Yixian frowned, “I was too rash. I thought it was disrespectful of her that she was reading a book when I was giving a speech, so I wanted to give her a hard time. I didn’t expect Fu Xiuyu to come out of nowhere.”
Su Yan sighed, “Anyway, did you know that Gong Yi is here? For him to visit now means he’s here for you! The young master from country Z – you better grasp onto this opportunity.”
Dai Yixian’s finger suddenly froze. She felt a little arrogant, but her tone remained nice, “There are some talented young men in this country as well. I want to observe and shop around.”
