Qiao Qing was surprised, “You’re not scared others will freeze you out for talking to me?”
“They can if they want. I don’t like them either. We’ve all been together for a month now yet they are acting like they’re better just because of one internet post? What is that about? The Dean is a highly respected figure. He has his reasons for choosing who he likes.”
She then looked over to Qiao Qing, bright-eyed, “I’m sure you have other areas of specialties that are better than ordinary people.”
Qiao Qing smiled. She was about to say something when someone from the side snorted, “Birds of a feather flock together. For a pretty face, some people sure are willing to do anything.”
Chen Nanfeng glared at Tian Zhen, “My god, are you ill? Willing to do anything? Just because you got a high score on an exam, you think you’re a better person than everyone else? You think for sure you’ll do better than everyone else once you enter society?”
Tian Zhen, “I’m not too sure if I’ll do better than everyone else but, I know I will do better than the one who had trash grades and only got in for unknown reasons.”
Chen Nanfeng, “You…”
“Everyone, get into position!”
Instructor Fan Yan went up to the front. He glanced at Qiao Qing and said, “Today’s the last day of military training. I will be testing how effective you’ve been training!”

All day, no matter where Qiao Qing went, there were voices.
During the afternoon break, Qiao Qing gave Fang Yan a heads up. Then walked out of their quadrant and came alone to the broadcast room.
By the time military training was done and everyone was bidding goodbyes, a bright voice began broadcasting throughout the entire campus.

All the first years who had been in training exchanged glances. Then, everyone headed to the east gate.
Just then, the bell rang to indicate the last class of the day. Students from the higher years all heard the broadcast and headed to the east gate as well.
Inside the broadcast room, Luo Chen smiled and gave Qiao Qing, who sat in front of the computer, a look, “Qingqing, how is it? Isn’t my voice very suitable for radio?”
Qiao Qing chuckled and began to type furiously on her keyboard.
The east gate was the most commonly used gate for students. By the gate was an 8 meter wide and 6 meter tall display screen.
Normally, honorable mentions or other notices would be displayed here. It was the place for the school to communicate important news to its students. It was also the place for students to gather when the school had something to announce.
Like today, when the students heard the broadcast, they all rushed over. However, the display screen suddenly flashed like it had been unplugged. Instantly after, a blinding set of red text came on the screen.
“You want an explanation? I will give you one.”
Everyone was dumbfounded by this. They didn’t know what this was all about.
Someone recalled the biggest gossip of the day and wondered, “Could it be related to Qiao Qing’s free admission?”
“More gossip for me?”
“So what’s the reason?”
As everyone began their heated discussions, the red text disappeared. Next second, a webpage pulled up.
It was the login page used to check exam grades.
Everyone was now even more confused, “What is this? Why are we being shown this?”
Someone else said, “Look at the address, it’s for the City of Brisk!”
Everyone exchanged glances, still confused.
The screen was now showing someone entering their exam ID and password.
Someone asked, “Who’s this? Why are we being asked to watch this?”
Tian Zhen, who was amongst the crowd, felt unsettled. But it was a fact that Qiao Qing received free admission. There was no way the Dean would lie.
