All the actresses went to draw numbers and began the audition. Lin Xiyan ended up being the last one.
After her audition, Qiao Qing asked, “How did it go?”

Qiao Qing chuckled.
Fu Siying also laughed out loud, “I’ve never met an idiot this idiotic. Even actress Bai has never been this arrogant. Be careful! The better you feel about yourself now, the worse you’ll feel later!”
Just then, Qiao Qing’s phone lit up.
She read the text and rubbed Lin Xiyan’s head, “I need to step out a bit. Wait here for the decision.”

After Qiao Qing left, she circled around and entered the audition room from the side door.

Qiao Qing felt relieved and nodded, “Show me her audition tape.”
Shen Jie nodded, “Sure. I wanted to watch it again anyway. It was truly astonishing.”
Qiao Qing sat in the director’s seat and watched Lin Xiyan’s tape. Shen Jie then said, “After Fu Siying’s audition, she started telling us how she was going to get her brother to invest if we made her the female lead. She truly thinks of her brother as a God. No matter what she does, she brings up her brother.”
Qiao Qing didn’t seem to have an opinion about this. She tapped the table lightly, “Send me a copy of Lin Xiyan, Fu Siying, and actress Bai’s audition tapes.”
Shen Jie was surprised, “Why do you need those?”
Qiao Qing said, “I have my own uses.”
“Okay.” Shen Jie sent Qiao Qing the videos and remembered something else, “Right, third young master Jun offered to invest $3B for this production. He didn’t ask for anything. He just asked me to be careful when picking the lead roles. Should I accept it or not?”
For some reason, Shen Jie thought of Qiao Qing as the person with all the power. Though he wasn’t sure what her connection to Sky Entertainment was, after their chat last time, he felt that it would be the right thing to do to run everything past her.
