He then looked over to Qiao Qing and asked with a stern face, “How did you do?”
Qiao Qing replied, “Alright.”
Yang Lianfeng then said, “Do you have the confidence that you’ll get into UCC?”
Qiao Qing responded, “Not a problem.”
“Great!” Yang Lianfeng’s nervous looking face finally softened.
“When I first heard you declined the offer, I wanted to beat you up. However, I didn’t dare to because that would affect your performance on the exam. Now that I’ve thought about it, it’s better that you get in yourself. Then, nobody can deny you or say anything bad about you.”
Then, he looked over to Luo Chen with a fatherly smile, “What kind of luck do you have, man?”
Luo Chen rubbed his nose and smiled, “I don’t know. I probably got lucky thanks to Qingqing. I realized that Qingqing is my lucky goddess. Ever since I got to know her, my life finally started!”
Yang Lianfeng laughed. His gaze landed on someone behind those two and waved his hand, “Yanyan, come here.”
Lin Xiyan followed the voice and when she saw Qiao Qing’s silhouette, she dashed over right away, looking surprised, “Qingqing! I haven’t seen you in so long!”
Qiao Qing patted her head. Lin Xiyan grinned from ear to ear and rubbed her head against Qiao Qing’s palm.
Yang Lianfeng whined, “Who was the one that called you over? Why are you treating me like I’m not here.”
The three of them laughed.
Then, Luo Chen realized, “Bro Yang, what are you holding?”
Yang Lianfeng slapped his own forehead, “Wow look at me! I completely forgot!”
As he spoke, he handed Qiao Qing a wrapped up box, “I saw that it’s almost your birthday. I was going to attend your coming of age party, but I’m going to be out of town that day so I won’t be able to make it. I’m wishing you an early happy birthday!”
Both Luo Chen and Lin Xiyan were startled and said in unison, “Qingqing, it’s almost your birthday?”
Qiao Qing took over the gift, “Thanks, teacher.”
Luo Chen completely lost it then, “Why do you do that Qingqing! Why didn’t you say anything about your birthday! If bro Yang didn’t tell us, you wouldn’t have told us?”
Qiao Qing looked at him speechlessly, “The invitation for the coming of age party will probably be delivered to your house.”
“How’s that the same?” Luo Chen was dissatisfied. Before he could say anything more, he saw Lin Xiyan tug at Qiao Qing’s sleeve, “Qingqing, I want to go to your party too.”
Qiao Qing nodded. She jotted down a number and handed it to her, “Contact this person when the time comes. He will go pick you up.”
Lin Xiyan immediately smiled, “Okay!”
Lang Yin, who hide in a dark spot almost fell out of the tree.
Why did the young miss hand out his information? Before, she’d always make him go to the addresses she gave out.
Because of this, he checked out Lin Xiyan. So it seemed this girl means something to the young miss.
After they said bye to Yang Lianfeng, the three of them left school.
Halfway home, a black Maybach stopped before the trio.
The window of the car rolled down and a cold and handsome face was revealed, “Get in the car.”
Qiao Qing stopped walking but didn’t move.
Feng Heng turned his face around and stared at Qiao Qing, “Qingqing, get in the car.”
Luo Chen asked, “Do you know him?”
Qiao Qing nodded.
Luo Chen scratched his head and with much self-awareness, said, “Then, we’ll leave first.”
Then, he left with Lin Xiyan.
Qiao Qing stared at Feng Heng without the slightest emotion, “Do you need me for something.”
“Why can’t I come and find you?” Feng Heng mocked at himself, “Qingqing, you’re giving up our three-year-long friendship just because I like you?”
Qiao Qing pursed her lips. She then extended her hand and pulled onto the front passenger seat door.
However, before the door could open, her wrist felt tight.
A magnetic and kind voice circled around her ears from behind, “Qingqing, you can’t just sit in any man’s front passenger seat.”
