The first person to react was He Wanqing. She slapped her palm down and smiled so big her entire set of teeth showed but her eyes disappeared.
“Hahahahaha, this is hilarious! Who gave you the confidence to talk down to my daughter? What’s wrong with my daughter? She’s pale-skinned, beautiful, and has long legs! Her grades and her personality are both great! Everything my daughter has is better than your daughter’s. The Dean has chosen my daughter! What is it? You don’t think she’s deserving?!”
Of course, Qin Yongmei didn’t think she was deserving. She dragged Qiao Nian up to Cui Yan.
“Dean, you are mixing up the wrong person right now. When you admit students, don’t you look at their grades? Shouldn’t you ask for equality and equity? After her speech, everyone else nodded.
If Qiao Nian had gotten that spot, these people would be jealous. But if Qiao Qing got that spot, then these people were not going to let that happen.
After all, Qiao Qing’s poor grades were well known. It wasn’t possible for her to change everyone’s mind after a single exam.
Most people were skeptical about how she got that number one a while back.
Out of these friends of Qin Yongmei’s, some people watched the Go competition yesterday.
They wanted to say something on Qiao Qing’s behalf. But then, they remembered that it was just Go and that should only add on as some extra credit. Go skills shouldn’t replace comprehensive performance in school. So nobody spoke up.
Different from these people who were here for the show, Cui Yan’s face dropped upon hearing Qin Yongmei’s words.
He Wanqing on the other hand, exploded right away, “Who did you accuse of cheating?! If Qiao Nian places first, she deserves it. But if my baby places first, she’s a cheater? What is this double standard!? If you dare to accuse my baby anymore, I will beat you up!”
“You think I’m scared of you?! Your daughter doesn’t need to be accused!” Just then, Qin Yongmei thought of something. She dragged Cui Yan over and pointed to Mu Jinghang, who was chilling by the front door. Then, she pointed at Jun Yexuan, who was sitting on the living room couch.
“Right, Dean, let’s ignore grades for now. This girl’s personal life is a mess! Do you not see this? She’s so young, not even an adult, yet she’s already hiding two men in her house!”
