Gu Shishi took a sip of the soy milk and pointed at the screen.
[Ivy: I had my name on the video clip and a lot of head hunters had been reaching out to me lately. There are several companies out there wanted to recruit you for big dollars. I didn’t dare to turn them down and had taken all of their contact information. Do you want to take a look at them?]
“No need,” said Huo Sishen with his brows raised.
“Hey now. She was just relating the messages to me out of courtesy. What are you worried about? Go back to your documents. I’ll talk to her,” said Gu Shishi as she shoved the thigh in pants next to her.
Ivy had already sent over an excel file while they talked.
The contact information of the head hunters, the title and the compensation were all listed out clearly.

By now, Ivy could easily write a few thousand words of praises over Gu Shishi.
She felt that with the boss lady’s ability, she could totally open up her own graphic art company.
But she still wouldn’t dare to not relate these messages.
“Tsk tsk. These people sure know how to appreciate good arts. Let me see what I got.”
Gu Shishi looked through the list cheerfully.
After a little while, she got even happier.
“Certain car company wants traditional artwork as well?”
“Hmm, a company in Suzhou and had to do with gardening. This was on topic.”
Gu Shishi commented as she went down the list.
When she got to the very bottom of the list, she was taken aback a little.
“One of the top three skincare product company located in Puxi – that’s Jiahe, right?”
Gu Shishi was dumbfounded.
Jiahe was the Gu family’s skincare products.
Gu Shishi had an idea who her competitors were.
She looked at it long and hard and the angel and demon battled inside of her. She debated whether she should take this opportunity to sneak inside of the opponent’s operations and take them down from the inside.
She would just be an artist. It wasn’t like Gu Wushuang would meet her in person or anything.
She was finally stopped by Huo Sishen. “How far along are you now? Are you planning to give birth at Jiahe?”
Gu Shishi blinked, rubbed her now round belly, and had no choice but to abandon that plan.
After a just a little while, however, she grinned, tugged at Huo Sishen’s sleeve and said, “I can go after I have unloaded.”
The corners of Huo Sishen’s lips twitched. “Whatever makes you happy.”
Even as she said that Gu Shishi knew that the opportunity would not be there forever.
She turned around and passed onto Plant Manager Liu first hand information that Jiahe, too, was planning on going the route of traditional art and had him be prepared for that.
Plant Manager Liu took that very seriously.
Jiahe had launched a high-end product line after Double-12 and came head-to-head at Huajian’s new products.
As in any other sort of competition, this was not going to be a quick battle but would be a long haul.
They would have to not only look at what’s current, but also into the future.
Plant Manager Liu gave her a military style promise. “Don’t worry, Boss Shishi. I already have Lao Xia working on researching on new products and the sales department are on par with us. Our goal is to become the top domestic brand next year.”
Gu Shishi felt very motivated after hearing that as well. She calculated her expected due date and told Plant Manager Liu that she could help out whenever.
As soon as she had said that, Plant Manager Liu started hamming and hawing over the phone. “Boss, I do have a not-so-reasonable request.
“I saw that ink painting video from my friend’s circle’s and, to tell you the truth, I signed up for the tour as well.”
Gu Shishi was taken aback a little. She turned and looked at Huo Sishen who was rubbing her back.
For a second there, she wondered if Huo Sishen was behind that.
Plant Manager Liu’s string of praises over the traditional-style video clip was already coming over from the other end of the phone.
“I’ve watched the video over 30 times and also forwarded it to Lao Xia and the others. If we are to make traditional-style products, we can’t not know anything about the culture. As such, I will not be the only one who will be visiting the historical sites, the other upper management will be coming with as well. We will follow the river and experience what our ancestors had saw.
“I had told the others that they need to submit reports on what their thoughts were after the trip.”
Plant Manager Liu was very emotional over this.
