Rise of Humanity Chapter 969

Chapter 969 - The Enemies Within A Hundred Feet

Translator: Exodus Tales  Editor: Exodus Tales

The two Panhu Clan’s Imperial Emperors were dangerously close to Zhong Yue which made it impossible for Zhong Yue to escape if they were keen on catching him. Fortunately, at this point, the two Imperial Emperors were entirely distracted by Bi An, fearing that they would kill him if they applied too much strength so they restricted themselves.

Yin Fukang suddenly dove between the two Imperial Emperors while wielding a pole with a hook on the end of the sides. He swung it around and sent one of the Imperial Emperors flying away.

On the other side, Fu Li roared, slamming his bone club onto the other Imperial Emperor. Though his cultivation level was not as strong as the Imperial Emperors, his raw body strength was unstoppable to a point where he rivaled the peak Creators from Leizhe Clan. Hence, while the level of energy contained in his strike was not that outstanding, the raw power was unreasonably powerful and the Imperial Emperor was sent flying away.

Just as the two Imperial Emperors were knocked back, the countless Panhu Clan’s soldiers swarmed towards Zhong Yue in an instant!

“My precious item….”

“No, it’s mine!”

“What a superior herb! The key towards becoming a monarch!”

“Let me have a bite!”

“Get out of my way, I will kill anyone who dares to lay a finger on this herb!”

Fu Li and Yin Fukang had goosebumps all over as this scene was awfully eerie and crazy; the Panhu Clan’s soldiers had lost their minds and they attacked each other as they charged towards Zhong Yue; in a split second, heads fell onto the ground and the soldiers’ rank decreased drastically!

With Yin Fanxuan’s flute melody still playing in their minds, Fu Li and Yin Fukang’s mind remained solid but to these Panhu soldiers, the little fat boy sitting on Zhong Yue’s shoulder was releasing endless lustrous scent!

Upon seeing Bi An, they immediately saw themselves becoming a monarch, reversing their postnatal state and ascend into the immortal innates!

The Hundredth Reincarnation Saint Amaryllis had turned into the now little fat boy, and with that, he was no longer emitting abnormally nice scent. He was the scent itself right now.

The two Imperial Emperors were also biting on their tails, slaughtering their own kin with no mercy and even ripping their people apart with their bloodied mouths!

The scene was so cruel and gory that even the ferocious Fu Li felt a chill crawling down his spine!

On Zhong Yue’s shoulder, the little fat boy Bi An trembled in fear; his sharp dragon claw dug deep into Zhong Yue’s muscles to anchor himself on Zhong Yue’s shoulder while pair of tiger claws grabbed firmly onto the banner.

“Stay away from me or bear with the consequences!”

The banner floated against the wind flow and the wordings on the banner further contrast with the little boy, making Bi An seem like an arrogant and proud child.

“Follow up!”

Zhong Yue endured the pain, stabilizing his heart and mind with the [Ancient Time Unmoving Seal] before charging forwards. Meanwhile, Fu Li and Yin Fukang followed tightly behind. As one from the demon race, YIn Fukang’s patterns were extremely tricky and mind-boggling; the pole on his hands were reaping lives from time to time as the hook on the end of the pole kept killing people.

His attacking pattern was even more cold-blooded and vigorous; as demon Qi shrouded around him, the Qi would find a way into the Panhu Clan’s members’ eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. Then, like serpents, the demon Qi slithered around in their body, absorbing the blood and organs in their body, further writhing their victims’ Yuan Shen.

His inner core flew out, creating a demonic magnetic field and a Heavens that shot out demonic rays from time to time floated above his head, disintegrating the hostiles around.

Among these foes were Creators and Deity Emperors that cultivated the monarch level art of the Panhu Clan, bestowing them with immense power that posed a threat even to someone like him, forcing him to fight with his full strength to ensure his safety.

Things were relatively simpler for Fu Li on the other hand as all he did was brutally swing his massive bone clubs, shattering every threat with sheer body strength. Suddenly, he was swarmed by a sea of Panhu cultivators, losing his balance right away.

These Panhu Clan’s members then starting biting him and Fu Li was in a tragic state in the blink of an eye. Suddenly, he shook his body, stretching out his innate dragon scales and these razor sharp scales turned into a spinning wheel, slicing the enemies around him and beheaded them all.

The two of them escorted Zhong Yue from the bow to the end of the ship, then back to the bow, attracting the attention of all the Panhu Clan’s soldiers onboard before Zhong Yue suddenly cut off the ropes attached to the bridges. Then, Zhong Yue controlled these bridges into the air, laid them floating on the river and he ran towards the other Panhu Clan’s warship through this floating bridge.

Given the considerable distance between the ships, it was impossible to leap towards the other warship from one, so Zhong Yue created a bridge that connected towards them and charged across it.

Just as Zhong Yue leaped onto the floating bridge, the endless Panhu soldiers followed suit as if they had lost their mind, which resulted in them losing their lives as the terrifying Heavenly River dragged countless of these soldiers into the water.

Pu tong pu tong—

Upon falling into the river, these strong magnates lost the ability to leap into the air again and nothing of them remained after being swallowed by the river.

Zhong Yue, too, was dragged by the river, but with a battlecry, Zhong Yue stomped on the bridge before running up into the air, casting the [Nine Step Plough Cracker] and arriving at the ship opposite of him after nine complete steps.

On the other hand, the soldiers onboard the other ship had already raised their spears and lunged the spears towards Zhong Yue immediately.

With a swing, Zhong Yue shattered these spears with his saber and as he landed, the Panhu soldiers around him lost their mind and they immediately swarmed towards Zhong Yue like puppets being controlled by a strange enmity.

Fu Li and Yin Fukang followed around Zhong Yue, guarded him at both sides and escorting him towards his destination while the Creators and Deity Emperors pursued them; the Imperial Emperors were also on this ship right now and the soldiers that landed on the bridge were almost wiped out by the river.

Among the soldiers, only a hundred powerful True Deities and Deity Overlords that managed to overcome the danger, boarded the ship and there were a few lucky Heavenly Deities that survived after stepping over their kin’s corpses.

Zhong Yue charged out from the flesh mountain, repeating the same thing; he fought his way from the bow to the end of the ship, charging back again. But this time, more and more enemies swarmed around him, pushing him to his limit as wounds kept appearing on him.

“The enemies are within hundred feet of me!” Zhong Yue shouted loudly as he fought against the approaching enemies.

These Panhu soldiers had forgotten their fear of death after losing their minds. Among them were countless True Deities and Deity Overlords; Fu Li and Yin Fukang managed to ward off the Deity Emperors and Creators but that had already kept them completely occupied.

At usual times, Zhong Yue would’ve been able to deal with these True Deities and Deity Overlords on a one on one battle but when facing a swarm of them, Zhong Yue was immediately overwhelmed.

The innate divine saber that was formed from his innate Dao was held firmly in his hand. He swung around at insane speed and formed a defensive circle around him.

But the radius of his defense shrunk again and again and now, only a hundred feet around him was safe but he was on the brink of being cut down.

Fu Li, on the other hand, continued swinging his massive bone club, trying his best to ensure Zhong Yue’s safety. He let out a shout, “Master, tell me if there is anyone around you within fifty feet!”

“They are already fifty feet of me!”

“Tell me when its twenty!”

“Twenty feet!”

“Master, the pressure on my side is massive as well….” Fu Li’s groan was then heard.

Zhong Yue was enraged by this statement and at the same time, another few more attacks landed onto him, almost crushing his body, which had him shouted, “Fu Li! Your words are nonsense! I’d be dead if I believed your words entirely!”

He then reached towards the little fat oby sitting on his shoulder, hurled him towards the foes and the boy shouted in fear immediately, to which Zhong Yue scowled, “Shut up! Have you forgotten you are a Creator yourself?”

Bi An immediately gets back to his senses, started attacking immediately and cleared the area in front of him as he said stubbornly, “I was overwhelmed by the fear of being eaten alive by them and forgot that I am a Creator myself… But aren’t you my guardian? Is throwing me out to defend yourself befitting of a guardian?”

Even though Bi An’s strength was superior to Zhong Yue’s, he was unable to utilize it to its full potential. But nonetheless, his current state was already strong enough to hold off the foes from the front.

Zhong Yue fought his way desperately to the floating bridge, destroyed it and ran away to the other Panhu Clan’s warship while the gods bit on his tail persistently and many of them lost their lives to the river.

Zhong Yue boarded the Panhu Clan’s warship and did the same thing again, leaving countless bodies behind, dying the river red with their blood before heading to the other warships.

In an instant, chaos descended onto the Panhu Clan’s fleet, injecting fear and panic into the other gods on the other warships when they saw how their kin turned into mindless monsters whenever Zhong Yue got close to them; apart from chasing Zhong Yue madly, these gods were also slaughtering themselves mindlessly.

But the scariest part was that they even jumped into the Heavenly River!

Among the casualties, those that lost their lives to their own kin and Zhong Yue took up only 40 percent and the rest were all killed in the river!

“Left sail! Sail to the left! Avoid them!”

The captains of the remaining warships immediately ordered the crew to maneuver the ships away from the source of chaos to avoid being dragged into the mess.

In just a short time, almost half of the fleet was staggered by the chaos and if the other half did nothing, they would also be in danger!

At the front, the Yinkang Clan’s fleet was approaching hostilely while the Star Beasts continued fighting with the ships submerged in the water, creating rogues waves, dyed the blood red and as a result of that, the pace of the Yinkang Clan’s fleet was being stalled.

Far away, the ship captains of the Heavenly River Naval Fleet that was rushing towards their allies frowned upon this scene and they were all uneasy.

“What are they doing? Why is the Panhu Clan killing themselves?” shouted a confused Creator.

Lou Zhengshi frowned and he looked at Zhong Yue as he thought, Is this the doings of this King Yi? With his cultivation level, how is he stirring such chaos among the Panhu Clan? Is this King Yi that strong?

At this moment, the crippled Panhu Clan’s fleet was no longer able to stop the Yinkang Clan’s fleet as the Yinkang Clan would definitely escape amidst the chaos after dealing with the Star Beasts.

Lou Zhengshi then thought of Mo Yin’s remarks on Zhong Yue, “Xian Tian Palace’s King Yi is a man equivalent to a massive army and three Imperial Emperors.”

I thought Mister Mo Yin was overestimating King Yi but now it seems like he was right about King Yi….

He thought, But from what I see, Mister Mo Yin was still underestimating this King Yi….

In the world birthed by Pangu, the Three Sovereigns lit the spark of humanity that the Five Emperors would later fan into a blazing fire, eternally branding humanity as the leaders of the world…. This was a time where twilight had descended on the reign of the Human Sovereign and the Five Emperors had yet to emerge – humanity was merely one of the myriad races wandering about the vast cosmos. This was a desolate and barren era. The monsters, devils, heavenly gods, and deities of all races stood aloft; with the demons, heavenly souls, and spirits dancing freely around the world. The humans were still a feeble and burgeoning race, often taken as livestock and offered as sacrifices to the pantheon of races that ruled the world together from within the great wilderness. This was not the era of the Foreworld, but the barbaric and untamed era of uncivilization! Let us rewind back to China’s ancient and classical mythology and recount the legendary tale of how a single figure led humanity out of an epoch of darkness and into a new dawn. Please sit back, relax and enjoy the (Rise of Humanity) !
