Chapter 853 - Ugly

Qiu Jin’er said right away, “Nuxi, be like a girl, stop acting rudely like a boy or no man will marry you.”

Nuxi widened her eyes. Just as she wanted to rebut, she gave up suddenly and fell back down as she murmured, “I won’t marry a guy….”

Zhong Yue looked at Nuxi; this reincarnated Li Yang had obviously awoken his previous life’s memories and was very unhappy about being reborn as a girl. Jun Sixie, Qiu Jin’er and the others also did not take her seriously as a reborn innate god and treated her like a little girl, joked and played with her.

Reborn innate god. This identity was extremely honourable and because of this identity, Zhong Yue disguised as Li Yang and was treated with respect and care wherever he went. However, to the ladies from Huaxu Clan, Nuxi was a little girl whom they treated like their little sister.

“My enemy’s name is Wu Dulang, a innate demon god born and nurtured by the ancient universe.”

After joking around and playing the the ladies, Nuxi looked at Zhong Yue and said, “He rivaled me equally back then and he was a Creator then. After being set up by him, it had already been a few ten thousand years now and he is probably an innate Imperial Emperor now. It’s fine if he did not know you now but if he did find out that you are walking around under the disguise of my name, he will come for you!”

“Another innate Imperial Emperor….”

Zhong Yue asked, “How strong is he?”

Though still young, Nuxi was already a Heavenly Dharma level Qi Practitioner, so she was easily able to transmitted her memories about Wu Dulang into Zhong Yue’s mind.

As soon as her psyche touched with Zhong Yue’s, Zhong Yue started seeing images of the ferocious fights between two innate gods!

Wu Dulang was a demon god born from a demonic star of the demon race and was worshiped by the many demons. He was a demonic spirit that ascended into an innate demon god, condensed with the demonic traits in the universe.

This innate demon god then married ladies from the noble demon families, giving birth to thousands of children, each having the bloodline of an innate demon god. And with that, a huge race was born.

Li Yang, on the other hand, was the innate god born from the sun worshipped by the Li Shan Celestial Race. The Li Shan Celestial Race and the demon race were longstanding enemies and as the conflict between them escalated, the two innate gods were eventually roped into the conflict.

Their battles were ruthless and intense; they blasted each other with their innate Dao, innate spells, creations and rammed each other with pure raw power.

Li Yang had fought Wu Dulang for more than just a couple of fights and they have both tasted the sweetness of victory and bitterness of defeat in each others’ hands. They were both very familiar with each others’ movements and after being set up and defeated by Wu Dulang, the Li Shan Celestial Race quickly met their end in the hands of Wu Dulang.

And that was just the Wu Dulang years ago. How strong was he now, what kind of moves had mastered right now, Nuxi had no idea.

Zhong Yue nodded and said, “Worry not. Since I am using your name and your identity as a disguise, I will take on whatever conflict you’ve created back then.”

Nuxi said worryingly, “Wu Dulang is a cunning one, you must not let your guard down!”

Zhong Yue suddenly thought of something and asked, “Innate gods always face difficulties in cultivation and it is very hard for them to enter the next level while the non-innate beings could advance levels easily. Why don’t you take revenge yourself?”

Without hesitation, Nuxi stood up straight and replied proudly, “I am just asking you to be careful, not to kill him. When I am strong enough, I will confront him and claim his head as my trophy to avenge myself and my clan!”

Zhong Yue smiled and replied, “He will be yours, I am sure of that.”

Confidently, Nuxi said, “Now that I am a Huaxu, though still inferior to an innate god, my path is wider because of my new identity. Perhaps, I will become even stronger than before. But the only problem is….”

Nuxi sighed and the confidence in her eyes was replaced by despair and she said nothing more.

“Except that this little girl, Nuxi, is really pretty, we must arrange a marriage for her!” giggled Jun Sixie.

Hua Qianwen nodded with blinking eyes, “It will be very fun!”

“That is why I did not want to be reborn into the Huaxu Clan… Don’t even think of marrying me out!”

Shouted Nuxi as she swung her hands around.

Suddenly, the frustrated Hua Qianwen said, “Mister Yi, the Goddess said that I’ll be marrying you in the future but you already have a wife and we are not close at all, so what kind of nonsense is this?”

Upon hearing this, Jun Sixie immediately looked at Zhong Yue and she smirked, “Senior Martial Sister Qianwen, are you still worrying about this? Who knows how many ladies he has hooked up with outside there. If you marry him, I’m worried that you’ll only horrifyingly discover that he has a lot of ladies already.”

Zhong Yue immediately grabbed onto Jun Sixie’s hands and he said seriously, “Senior martial sister, I am not someone like that, I will never hurt you!”

“Are you sure?” asked Jun Sixie with a touched heart in a very ladylike way, “Then what about little junior martial sister? What about Senior Martial Sister Qianwen? What about your legal wife, Senior Martial Sister Yin….”

Zhong Yue held onto Qiu Jin’er’s hand before another arm grew from his body and held onto Hua Qianwen’s hand and said, “I will not leave any of you….”

Jun Sixie suddenly grabbed onto his wrist and kicked him down from the boat.

Krong—

With a flip of her hand, Hua Qianwen visualized a mountain and crush it down onto Zhong Yue while Jun Sixie launched countless energy attack towards Zhong Yue with her zither, even Nuxi also acted; she hurled one after another innate spells onto Zhong Yue and shouted, “I’ve never seen someone as shameless as you! No one hold me back!”

“Junior Martial Sister Jin’er, are you not going to beat him up?” asked Jun Sixie and Hua Qianwen as they both turned around and looked at her.

Qiu Jin’er’s face flushed and she listened obediently; she bravely threw a few attacks towards Zhong Yue before she left with the other ladies on the boat. They all shouted, “What a bad egg! Let’s leave him in the water so that he can reflect on his sins!”

“I heard that this Mister Yi is also in a relationship with the Xian Tian Palace’s little princess. The princess was betrothed to Juling Clan’s Tian Yuanzi and now, she’s trying to cancel the betrothal because of this Mister Yi….”

Hua Qianwen’s voice was heard coming from afar.

“This idiot!”

As soon as Zhong Yue’s head broke through the water’s surface, countless attacks flew towards him from the little boat far away and slammed him back into the water.

After a moment, the young god from the Zhong Shan Clan crawled out from the lake in an abject state and said awkwardly, “Xin Huo, what you taught me is useless, I can’t even stand on two boats at once. Those moves from the previous inheritors are not working at all….”

Xin Huo shouted back angrily immediately, “Who told you to pull these moves in front of them? You are obviously going to fail if they are all in one place! You should’ve split them up and they would’ve definitely fallen for you! You are really a disappointment and a disgrace to all your seniors! You asked for it!”

Zhong Yue was extremely embarrassed.

He stayed in Huaxu Clan for another few days awhile Jun Sixie and Qiu Jin’er ignored and dodged him completely. Zhong Yue then went to Goddess Shen Hou to bid farewell and the Goddess looked at him in an indescribable way and said, “The Fuxi’s leader went to catch some turtles in the lake?”

Zhong Yue replied shyly, “I did, I had three and even ended up getting beaten.”

Goddess Shen Hou bursted out laughing right away, “You little ones are really interesting. Now go but be careful. Don’t die out there and I look forward to seeing you again in the future.”

Zhong Yue bowed and left.

Just when he was about to leave the sacred mountain, Qiu Jin’er, Jun Sixie, Hua Qianwen and Nuxi showed up in his path and Zhong Yue immediately approached them.

“Be careful, senior martial brother.”

Qiu Jin’er said gently, “When I am strong enough, I’ll be there for you to help you.”

Jun Sixie opened her mouth slightly and after a second of hesitation, she said, “What matters most is your life, don’t die.”

Zhong Yue nodded and Hua Qianwen said, “I snuck into the treasuries yesterday and there really is an ancient scroll. On the scroll were the Fuxi’s leaders and Nuwa’s name and my name was there. My name is in there but there was no Mister Yi except for Zhong Yue. I’ll be marrying this Zhong Yue so don’t you worry, we won’t be getting married.”

“Zhong Yue… I see….” murmured Zhong Yue as his expression darkened down.

“I wonder if this Zhong Yue is handsome or not.”

Hua Qianwen’s head was currently up in the clouds as her voice became filled with hope as she already began painting a picture of the ideal man in her head, “Perhaps he is a hero that is very handsome and capable?”

Jun Sixie immediately said evilly, “I’ve seen that Zhong Yue before. He is really ugly like a barbarian, his hair is messy and he never bathes! His muscles are everywhere and those muscles make him look really horrible. The scariest part is that his nasal hair is almost as long as his hair! Jin’er, am I right?”

Qiu Jin’er nodded without hesitation and the speechless Zhong Yue waved his hands as he turned around and left.

“Take care!” shouted Jun Sixie suddenly.

Zhong Yue turned around, a smile splitted on his face and he shouted back, “You girls take care too!”

He then left and Hua Qianwen’s voices was heard, “Is this Zhong Yue really that ugly?”

“Extremely ugly! Jin’er, what do you say?”

“He is indeed very ugly.”

“But this Mister Yi is quite good looking.”

“And he is a player! Think of what he said to us….”

….

Two months later, Zhong Yue arrived at Jin Yin Sacred Land. Yin Fanxuan had just completed her cultivation. Now, she was a Heavenly Deity, ruling the Jin Yin Sacred Land and controlled three Heavens.

Side by side, shoulder to shoulder, they both stood on the Jin Yin’s sacred mountain, where the Stone Sentinel Maze hung high in the skies while the power from the three Heavens surged into the Stone Sentinel Maze. In the scroll, countless gods were smelting and smithing, refining and enhancing the Stone Sentinel Maze’s power into only a step away from turning into the Deity Emperor-level treasures.

The totem patterns within the Stone Sentinel Maze were all refined into Jiao Dragons like and serpents like, each emitting a terrifying aura.

If the Stone Sentinel Maze merged together, the power it unleashes will probably on par with the Deity Overlords!

In less than a year, even Zhong Yue, the creator of the Stone Sentinel Maze was extremely shocked that the Stone Sentinel Maze was cultivated into such extent.

Apart from that, when the gods cultivating the Stone Sentinel Maze, their strength also experienced a massive hike.

“This Stone Sentinel Maze…. Is darling really going to cultivate it like a monarch-level weapon?”

Yin Fanxuan was caught off guard as she looked at Zhong Yue tossing the various rare materials into the Stone Sentinel Maze.

Zhong Yue shook his head and replied, “With just three Heavens, I can’t forge it into monarch-level weapon….”

Suddenly, he realized something and he glanced at Yin Fanxuan, Since when did she call me darling?

At the same time, a god came reporting, “The prince is here, he is requesting to see you, master.”

Right away, Zhong Yue cast aside his thoughts and immediately went to welcome the prince with his wife, Yin Fanxuan.

He thought, Mu Suge is here to invite me to enter the ancient universe with him and I’ll take this chance to meet with the humans staying there….

This was a time where twilight had descended on the reign of the Human Sovereign and the Five Emperors had yet to emerge – humanity was merely one of the myriad races wandering about the vast cosmos. This was a desolate and barren era. The monsters, devils, heavenly gods, and deities of all races stood aloft; with the demons, heavenly souls, and spirits dancing freely around the world. The humans were still a feeble and burgeoning race, often taken as livestock and offered as sacrifices to the pantheon of races that ruled the world together from within the great wilderness. This was not the era of the Foreworld, but the barbaric and untamed era of uncivilization! Let us rewind back to China’s ancient and classical mythology and recount the legendary tale of how a single figure led humanity out of an epoch of darkness and into a new dawn.
