Pagoda Master felt something immediately; he had goosebumps all over and when he looked up, he saw a ray that was heading straight at him.

Why is this ray giving me a feeling that it would destroy everything?

That ray locked onto Pagoda Master and no matter how he reacted, he felt that he would not be able to escape!

Left with no choice, Pagoda Master let out a shout and pushed his strength to his limits as he hurled spells onto the ray. His followers were still performing the blood ritual which had his strength maintained at the Heavenly Deity level, allowing him to do things he wouldn’t be able to do with his usual strength; his spells merged together in midair, turning into a great wall with totem patterns all over as it hung straight up in the skies.

Weng weng weng—

The Pagoda Master did not stop just right there; he continued to summon walls from the ground and in an instant, countless walls stood in between him and the incoming ray.

However, before he could even feel relieved, the walls burst apart and the ray was already in front of his face. In the ray was a strange looking weapon and when the weapon got to the front of his face, his vision was entirely filled up by this weapon.

The Pagoda Master roared loudly and he pushed his palms forward.

Zhe—-

However, whatever he did failed to save him; the spinning awl tore him into pieces and everything aspect of his being — totem patterns, energy, body, Yuan Shen, and soul — were eradicated!

Far away, Zhong Yue lost his balance and fell onto the ground as he depleted everything in this last attack.

Bai Canghai felt a chill travel down his spine as he witnessed the scene.

This attack was way too terrifying.

It was so powerful and scary that the Pagoda Master in the state of Heavenly Deity was still killed in one hit even after he listed down countless defensive skills in front of him!

Not long later, Ma Sansou was brought back to their side by Bai Canghai and was placed at Zhong Yue’s side.

His situation was very terrible as well; holes were all over his body and it seemed like there was no more blood in his body . Bai Canghai quickly took out some medicine and helped him treat his wounds.

And this was after Ma Sansou experienced the buff of the jade pool Dao liquid which removed the weaknesses in his body and Yuan Shen, or he would have been killed by the Pagoda Master in one strike.

With the addition of his innate talent and the Bloodline Wheel, it was already very amazing that he managed to survive.

Now, even after healing him completely, Ma Sansou’s strength would deteriorate greatly as a great portion of his strength came from his shell. With his shell completely destroyed by the Pagoda Master, he could no longer regrow it back since he did not cultivate the Immortal Body.

Right now, he was exactly like a turtle that gave up its shell, which rendered it completely defenseless against the other predators.

“Both of you and I are all injured.” said Bai Canghai worryingly as he looked at Zhong Yue and Ma Sansou who lost the ability to fight temporarily, “If an enemy appears before us, we are going to die for sure.”

“Shut up….” scolded Zhong Yue and Ma Sansou immediately, “Please don’t tell me you forgot about your Innate Curse Body.”

Bai Canghai gave them an awkward laugh and said again, “To be honest, sometimes my Innate Curse Body won’t work properly as well. Whatever I said won’t come true at sometimes….”

Zhong Yue’s heart sank in an instant and he shouted, “Brother Bai! Whatever you said is happening now! Get me up right away!”

Bai Canghai immediately helped him up and Zhong Yue looked around and he thought, Oh no, it’s him….

Bai Canghai looked towards the direction Zhong Yue looked at and he immediately saw a young man smiling. Six light wheels were spinning behind this young man’s head, and one after another, Qi Practitioners were sitting in them and they were praying towards this young man.

He was immediately shocked as he recognized this young man; he was the one that almost seized Zhong Yue and the Reverse Emperor back then on the bridge.

If it weren’t this young man’s greed that prompted him to try and catch everyone on the scene, Zhong Yue and Reverse Emperor would not be able to escape at all!

“Oh god… Reverse Emperor was caught and turned into one of his trophies….” murmured Bai Canghai as he realized that Reverse Emperor was among the countless Qi Practitioners that were praying towards the young man.

This is bad… thought Bai Canghai as he felt all hope was lost.

Now, Zhong Yue was heavily injured and he only managed to extract some essence from his remains to recover a tiny portion of his strength.

Judging from the size of Zhong Yue’s new body, Bai Canghai could tell that not only Zhong Yue did not recover much, there were also hidden problems in that new body.

And from how this young man had thousands of priests praying for him, he is probably on the same level with King Geng.

The followers of King Geng were approximately a thousand plus and being able to have about the same number of followers as King Geng, one could easily discern this young man’s strength.

Bai Canghai gulped and he asked quietly, “Sansou, who is this guy?”

“Yu Bochuan.”

With a very light breath, Ma Sansou shook his head and said, “How would I know? I’ve never seen him before… To think that there is actually someone like him in the Prison Realm….!”

As he spoke, he almost coughed all his organs out and this showed that he really couldn’t fight anymore.

“So this is the Blood Bone Evil God.”

The young man who saw them earlier laughed and said, “Don’t worry, I come with no ill intent. I merely wanted to come and take a look at the Blood Bone Evil God that you chose to follow, not to capture all of you.”

He looked at Zhong Yue and he said, “So the Blood Bone Evil God is probably human Zhong Yue of the Left Fang Galaxy, yes?”

Zhong Yue’s psyche waved and he said, “And who might you be, senior martial brother?”

“My name is Yu Bochuan.”

The young man stopped walking towards him after he closed in for some distance and he looked at Zhong Yue with wary and admiration in his eyes, “I came here to warn you, Brother Zhong. You have successfully become one of the top ten in the Prison Realm, destined to represent our Prison Realm in the major battle. So why the need to continue killing?”

With a serious expression, he said again, “If you stopped killing so much, you will have less tragedy in your life. You have already killed so much and in the future at some point, there would be a period of time where strong Qi Practitioners would stop appearing. If you continued to kill, the gods in the Prison Realm will not sit back and watch anymore.”

Before Yu Bochuan could even finish talking, the skies shook and another young man could be seen walking towards them.

Zhong Yue’s heart thumped again and he greeted, “Brother Li.”

That new comer was Li Tianxing and he greeted back at Zhong Yue.

Suddenly, another light flew towards them like a meteor and it landed at the side of Li Tianxing. It was a lady dressed in male attire.

“Senior Martial Sister Wudao.” Zhong Yue greeted with a heavy heart.

She greeted back at Zhong Yue and remained silent.

Then, another light landed onto the mountain and it turned into a young man but Zhong Yue’s heart sank to the bottom as he greeted again, “King Geng.”

“Brother Zhong.” replied King Geng.

Suddenly, another two lights landed not far away and they turned into two young man with golden hairs. This time, instead of becoming even more worried and stressed, Zhong Yue felt slightly more relieved.

“Senior Martial Brother Bi and An.”

“Brother Zhong.”

Then, another person arrived and this time, it was Shu Ye.

In just a short time, the best of the best within the Prison Realm has gathered around here and they surrounded the mountain Zhong Yue was standing on.

The atmosphere then became extremely quiet.

After a moment, Yu Bochuan laughed and said, “Dear senior martial brothers and senior martial sisters, we are here today not to fight, but to make peace. What do you think, Brother Zhong.”

Zhong Yue shook his head right away and replied, “I have only barely 2,000 starlights in my soul token, how can I say that I am among the top ten for sure?”

Yu Bochuan however, bursted out laughing and he said again, “How many do you think i have? I have only 1,700 yet I am among the top ten already. As far as I know, 2,000 is the most among the top ten already.”

Hearing this, Li Tianxing took out his token as well and said calmly, “I have about 1500 in mine.”

Jun Wudao took out hers, showed it to everyone and said, “I have slightly more than Brother Li, mine is 1600.”

“1500,” added Shu Ye.

Bi and An took out their token as well and said, “About the same.”

“I have slightly less than all of you, I have only 1400,” added King Geng.

Yu Bochuan laughed and said again, “Do you believe me now? The other few are not here but I assure you that the starlight on their token are less than yours. The total starlight we collected is less than 20,000 and among us, you had the most starlight.”

“How is that possible?” exclaimed Zhong Yue as this was completely out of his expectation.

With a shook, Yu Bochuan replied, “How is this not possible? Too many died in search of treasures throughout this time. At least 70,000 of us entered this place and among them, more than 4,000 of them died on the bridge and 40,000 of them died during their exploration!”

Zhong Yue was dumbfounded at the fact that there were only 30,000 survivors left!

And after deducting the amount of starlight, which is also the amount of Qi Practitioners killed by them, there were probably only 16,000 of them left!

“There were also at least some starlight in the soul token of the others. With that, could you imagine just how many of us left in this place?”

With a shake, Zhong Yue answered the question straightforwardly.

Yu Bochuan sighed and said, “Initially less than 10,000 and now, there are only about 7,000 of us left and among them, 2,000 lost their lives in your hands.”

Hearing this, Bai Canghai’s pupil widened as he did not have the slightest idea that there were only that little Qi Practitioners left!

“After a series of bloodshed, many of us had acquired our own land, recruited many followers for ourselves and these remaining Qi Practitioners are scattered around the territories of the many lords.”

After a short pause, he said again, “I have a thousand with me, King Geng has slightly more than that and the others have at least a few hundred. Below us are the smaller ones and they have about 3,000 in total but they were pretty much demolished by you and even if they did not, their lords were killed by you. Thus, I had no choice but to come and warn you and ask for your mercy on their behalf.”

Suddenly, his tone changed from friendly to a slightly colder tone, “But if you persist on continuing your ruthless massacre, perhaps we might become your next target.”

Zhong Yue’s heart tightened as he immediately understood what Yu Bochuan was trying to tell him.

If he continued his slaughter, he will render them no choice but to work together to remove him from the game because they couldn’t guarantee that Zhong Yue would not move against them!

In the world birthed by Pangu, the Three Sovereigns lit the spark of humanity that the Five Emperors would later fan into a blazing fire, eternally branding humanity as the leaders of the world…. This was a time where twilight had descended on the reign of the Human Sovereign and the Five Emperors had yet to emerge – humanity was merely one of the myriad races wandering about the vast cosmos. This was a desolate and barren era. The monsters, devils, heavenly gods, and deities of all races stood aloft; with the demons, heavenly souls, and spirits dancing freely around the world. The humans were still a feeble and burgeoning race, often taken as livestock and offered as sacrifices to the pantheon of races that ruled the world together from within the great wilderness. This was not the era of the Foreworld, but the barbaric and untamed era of uncivilization! Let us rewind back to China’s ancient and classical mythology and recount the legendary tale of how a single figure led humanity out of an epoch of darkness and into a new dawn.
