Rise of Humanity Chapter 385

Chapter 384

Chapter 384 – Twin Yues’ Collaboration

Zhong Yue was struck by that person’s killing intent, and his clothes fluttered in the breeze. He frowned, “Who are you? What business do you have with me?”

“I, Kui Zhengshu, father of Kui Hu, are you the one who murdered my son? Also, our Senior Kui Zhengshan who went to rescue the Kui Long Celestial Race’s Senior Kui Zhen from your Swords Gate Seal Suppression Hall was also killed by you humans.

The 1000 feet tall Kui Dragon Yuan Shen continued to grow larger, and he didn’t seem to be affected in the slightest no matter how much pressure the Martial God Stage put on him.

His killing intent continued to rise, and he said frigidly, “Seal Suppression Hall Master, the Kui Long Celestial Race will not stand your existence. We can never tolerate you walking around freely, and so today, you will die here.”

“Nicely said.”

A loud laughter rushed into everyone’s ears as two Heavenly Dharma experts flew over. One was a monster, and the other was a Qi Practitioner of the Zhu Rong Clan, “Senior Martial Brother Kui Zhengshu is right. This Zhong Shan Clan member will not be spared. There is no such need to wait for Long Yue to end him. Today, right here on the Martial God Stage, we will sentence this brat to death on the spot.”

The two Heavenly Dharma giant cultivators alighted the stage and revealed their 1000 feet tall Yuan Shen as they effortlessly strode through the Martial God Stage’s pressure.

The Zhu Rong Clan giant smirked and said coldly, “He’s caused calamities and brought countless troubles to my race. The Fiery Capital once welcomed you with open arms, and yet, you murdered many of our Zhong Li Celestial Race’s disciples before you left. This is unforgivable!”

The monster giant laughed and said, “Such a malicious sinner should just be killed right away, why do we even have to sentence him?”

In the Fiery Saint Palace, Shui Zian raised his brows and stood up. He thought, These races, they are really playing dirty tricks on Zhong Yue.

In the palace, the magnates then laughed and said, “Senior Martial Brother Shui, please, calm down, we have another old friend here. Sha Qishan, Senior Martial Brother Sha, why don’t you come out now?”

Another peal of laughter echoed out, and the smell of dead fish rushed into their noses. The whole Fiery Saint Palace was filled with the smell of fish as Sha Qishan strode over, “The smooth and slick man with a wide circle of acquaintances, Shui Zian. I’ve admired Senior Martial Brother Shui for a very long time. It hasn’t been an easy journey for me to get here so I can have a few moments of time with you senior martial brother. You won’t let me down, will you?”

He carried himself with a righteous and imposing air despite being a traitor to the dragon race.

However, Shui Zian sneered, and he clasped his hands together, releasing a strong killing intent that overcame the magnates’ sense. He then said blandly, “Senior Martial Brother Sha and the many other senior martial brothers, what is this? Although this Shui is not quick-witted, I’m not that ignorant to watch with folded arms as my Swords Gate disciple is being slain before my eyes. If the Zhong Shan Clan member is to be killed in a battle by his peers, then I will surely have to accept it in stride. As much as I hate to admit it, but if he dies in such a battle, then it was only deserved. However, if his death came by the hand of a Heavenly Dharma giant cultivator who against whom he is clearly outmatched, then it is not what I can silently abide. Or could it be that the senior martial brothers really think that I am a man who only knows how to make friends and smile? Do you think that I have no blood on my hands?”

Chi chi chi——

Extremely fine and thin sword silks could be faintly seen hiding in his sleeves, and the magnates in the palace then all tensed up.

Suddenly, Sha Qishan laughed and broke the stalemate, “Senior Martial Brother Shui, you’ve misunderstood us. However, Senior Martial Brother Shui let out your anger at just the moment I showed myself. Is this not a humiliation to me?”

The Xia Clan clan master, who was a Martial Divine Master, also said with a smile, “Senior Martial Brother Shui, be calm. In my Fiery Capital, the boy from the Zhong Shan Clan will be safe, relax my friend. Moreover, he has fallen foul with many races, and it is only natural for the experts to want to teach him a lesson. But they understand that there is a line that they cannot cross, I assure you of that.”

Shui Zian remained his hands together, and he also laughed, “Senior Martial Brother Xia is right.”

Thoughts flowed through his mind, and he cursed the shameless magnates in his heart, I thought these brats will only take action after Zhong Yue and Long Yue’s battle. But it seems like I’ve underestimated their shamelessness. I have the advantage in a smaller space, and the smaller the battlefield is, the stronger that advantage will be. However, this Fiery Saint Palace is enormous, there are many experts, and Clan Master Xia himself is a Martial Divine Master. Moreover, there is the Phoenix Race’s magnate, and if I act now, it will be hard to kill them all. Not to mention the past Martial Divine Master spirits that are guarding the Fiery Capital, making it that much harder to escape….

He suppressed killing intent in his heart and waited patiently for the golden opportunity to act.

On the Martial God Stage, the two Heavenly Dharma experts pressed against the pressure and were just a few steps away from reaching the end of the stairs onto the Martial God Stage.

On the stage, Kui Zhengshu suddenly moved, morphing into the Kui Long form and merging his Yuan Shen with the mortal body. He then became a 1000 feet tall, brawny, and muscular celestial being with the head of an ox and the body of a dragon. He let out a loud and ferocious roar and launched a fist at Zhong Yue.”

“Zhong Yue, die for my son’s life!”

The Kui Long Celestial Race had strong attainments in the ways of the mortal body. Zhong Yue’s immortal body was acquired precisely from the Kui Long Kui Zheng and Kui Hu. This Kui Zhengshu’s Immortal Body was a whole new level compared to Kui Hu; it was able to shake the Martial God Stage in just one strike, nearly tossing the young experts off their balance.

Buzzz——

Dazzling big shields emerged around the stage and absorbed the impact wave of Kui Zhengshu’s strike.

“This Kui Long, he is strong.”

The crowd faced even more pressure now on top of that of the Martial God Stage. The stage’s pressure had already limited the strength they could express to about half, and in addition to the pressure from Kui Zhengshu’s strike, they were having a really tough time withstanding it.

“Great Sun Heavenly Embryo Seal!”

Zhong Yue cast a hand seal and punched back, a demonic sun rose to the top of the stage and fought face to face against Kui Zhengshu. Two fists clashed, and a deafening blunt sound spread through the stage while both of them shuddered violently.

Kui Zhengshu was shocked. Suddenly, the dimensional space on the stage blurred out, and a phantom walked out of thin air with a banner in hand as he swung it at Zhong Yue’s head.

This phantom was a Heavenly Dharma expert from the Gui Shen Celestial Race that was hiding on the Martial God Stage without anyone realizing it. It took advantage of the confusion to launch a surprise attack against Zhong Yue!

On the Martial God Stage, the crowd let out an exclamation of shock at the sudden development. The Gui Shen Celestial Race were the masters of the dark; they were proficient in the ways of stealth and lent themselves well to the path of assassins. As such, the Heavenly Dharma Gui Shen Celestial was able to avoid the crowd’s detection just now. As of now, he had launched an ambush on Zhong Yue and struck right when Zhong Yue and Kui Shengshu clashed!

Meanwhile, Long Yue moved unexpectedly. He reached to the back of Kui Zhengshu and raised his hand where a thousand dragons soared out and formed the Thousand Dragon Barrier, striking at Kui Zhengshu’s back.

Kui Zhengshu was struck unawares, and he spurted out a mouth of blood, he was shocked and furious, but the world never stopped for his emotions. Zhong Yue took a step forward and opened his fist, his fingers made another hand seal, and the Heavenly Demon Sun Radiation Seal was then struck at Kui Zhengshu.

His other hand clenched the Golden Peng Sword and pulled it out from his secret realms.

The Heavenly Demon Sun Radiation Seal boiled Kui Zhengshu’s blood and burned his skin. The demonic fire ignited right within his body and was destroying him from the inside.

Zhong Yue then turned and morphed into the Golden Crow Yuan Shen third form. The three-legged celestial being then stomped on Kui Zhengshu’s head.

As he turned back, the Gui Shen Celestial Race Heavenly Dharma expert’s attack was just right above his head, Zhong Yue then swung the Golden Peng Sword over and broke the banner in half.

The Gui Shen giant cultivator was shocked and retreated quickly and soon disappeared.

Meanwhile, Long Yue had also whipped out a kick at Kui Zhengshu’s leg, and Kui Zhengshu was then shot out by the Twin Yue’s like a swirling windmill out from the stage before he was sent crashing into the city.

Right at this moment, the monster and Zhu Rong Clan Heavenly Dharma giants had just reached to the Martial God Stage and were met with a bright sword light that pierced right through the monster giant’s shoulder.

The monster Heavenly Dharma giant cultivator bellowed in anger, and he turned back into his true form of a huge creature. He then crouched on the stage and tried to reach out for Zhong Yue.

Chi——

The monster suddenly let out a loud cry of pain as he found his hand severed by Long Yue’s Fang Blade.

Krong——

The huge claw fell onto the stage, the force of the impact sending minor tremors through the city.

Zhong Yue and Long Yue crossed shoulders, and they rammed right into the monster’s chest and back. The two struck out a palm, and a huge hole was created on the monster Heavenly Dharma’s body. Broken bones and mashed meat were scattered across the ground as he collapsed down on the stage with blood flowing out from his body like a river.

While on the side, the Zhu Rong Clan giant could not even react in time and the Twin Yues have dashed over. This Zhu Rong Clan giant cultivator’s arcane energy was strong and sturdy, and he raised his hand to strike over at the two young men. His skill formed two fire dragons that curled around them.

Chi! Chi!

A sword ray and a blade light each killed a fire dragon. Zhong Yue and Long Yue then proceeded to the Zhu Rong Clan giant. In a few moments, the Zhu Rong Clan giant had fallen to the ground, his tendons were barbarically torn out from his body, and his Yuan Shen had been severely beaten by the two.

The two then stopped and later stood steadfastly on the stage face to face. As they stared at one another, the winds seemed to stop blowing, and their clothes slowly stopped fluttering.

On the Martial God Stage, the crowd was stunned, Zhong Yue and Long Yue had worked together and severely wounded four Heavenly Dharma giants in just a few moments. They defeated the old experts with little to no effort.

Their coordination was flawless, perfectly executed with not even the slightest mistake. It was as if they had been working together for years – it was truly amazing.

Even in the Fiery Saint Palace, the magnates were all stunned. They had never expected the situation to turn out like it just did.

Shui Zian was also surprised, and the overjoyed grand elder kept his Sword Cocoons and returned his hands into his sleeves again. He thought, This little brat Zhong Yue, he is just so….

He was also shocked speechless.

On the stage, Zhong Yue and Long Yue stared at another quietly. But the atmosphere was different to just a moment ago. Before this, the young experts could feel a slight disparity in the ambiance; before this, they were like two barrels of oil ready to explode with just the smallest spark. But now, after the battle, they seemed to begin to admire one another.

“Why….”

The monster giant raised his head and looked at Long Yue, his eyes filled with disbelief as he mumbled, “Why … I help you to take down Zhong Yue. You should be thanking me for that, why are you doing this….”

“I have my reputation in the East Barren, I have fought with my life for what I have now, and my teacher had place onto me the responsibility of being the Gu Xia City Lord. I have my own pride, and if I want to win, I will win him with my own strength.”

Long Yue placed his hands on his back and stomped his feet on the monster’s head. He pressed the monster’s face against the floor, and he said, “Zhong Yue is my opponent and whoever stops me from having a fair battle with him, is a direct insult to my strength. Don’t doubt me, because I will kill anyone who stands in my way.”

His voice reverberated throughout the city, and there was no doubt as to whether or not everyone heard him.

“Master is really a hero,” Long Chun’er exclaimed.

The others concurred. Although Long Yue was conceited, his actions were only fitting for a young hero of his stature. He was indeed worthy of respect.

“No wonder he’s risen to such heights. Eastern Sea Long Yue … everything he does is with the indomitable pride of a dragon.”

Bai Canghai praised, “The Twin Yue’s, I’m looking forward to the coming battle.”
