“Yu Qi, drink this.” Madam Sheng gave a mug containing hot chocolate. Yu Qi took a mug and had a slip of it.

“Boss, can I live at your house for a while?” She begged her boss.
“I have no problem about it but your family would be worried about it.”
“No. They not. They would not be worried about me.” She sneered.
“You should not say like that. They are your family. Why they are not worried about you?”
“Because I’m not their children. I’m was adopted.” Her hand made a fist.
Yu Qi’s made Madam Sheng shocked. She never thought Yu Qi was their adopted daughter. The Wang Family move into the town 10 years ago. At that time, they already had their kids. So no one knew about her being adopted daughter.
“How did you knew that?” Madam Sheng asked.
“Last night, I heard them talking about it. She said, ‘We have to wait for another 4 years until we can cut off her from our family. It’s for our safety.’ No wonder, they never gave me the family’s love. No wonder, they treat me like a slave.” She bites her lips.
Madam Sheng took pity for her. “Then you can stay here. We do have an empty room right now. It’s my daughter’s room. Right now, she is outside the town.”
“Really boss? Thank you, boss. I will look for another room later.” Yu Qi felt happy. She told her the truth but a little bit lie.
“Go, rest now. Take your time off today.” Madam Sheng ordered.
“Yes boss.”
